That "weird" mug that was decorated with the lady on the couch, is a design by Edward St. John Gorey (February 22, 1925 - April 15, 2000) was an American writer, Tony Award-winning costume designer, and artist, noted for his own illustrated books as well as cover art and illustration for books by other writers. His characteristic pen-and-ink drawings often depict vaguely unsettling narrative scenes in Victorian and Edwardian settings. I recommend you go back and purchase it.
You should ALWAYS grab the Frankoma. It can be sold for a lot. I am from Oklahoma. It is made from Oklahoma clay. The company originally started in Ada, Oklahoma and was closed up and sold off a couple of times but it always comes back. I think the company is back again but the pieces that are made, they break the mold after a while. So, those items are never made again and that means that they become more valuable. The piece that you are holding, a candle goes in the bottom and a Frankoma soup pot that matches it goes on the top. So, you are holding the bottom which is a soup pot warmer. Those tend to get broken. So, you might would have a market for that due to people like to replace their Frankoma pottery pieces when they get chipped or broken.
The Frankoma piece is the bottom half of a chafing dish - I have a green one. A tea light fits in the hole, and a covered dish sits on top, sort of a keep it warm for food on the table, especially like for a hot dip or meatballs at a party. It is from the 60's. I saw where someone was selling just the bottom on Etsy for $29, a top part for $40 and a whole one for $100.
Wow, it was definitely time to head on home when you see someone throwing a shopping cart! I too like the yellow canister set! Pretty! Hope you had a nice Mother’s Day! Thank you again for this video!
I noticed you passed up the Royal Worcester Evesham pattern pieces. That’s my set of dishes. I’m having a terrible time replacing pieces as the plates are going for $100 plus shipping. Something to consider.
OMG I want that black and white "weird" mug. Its Edward Gorey art. He wrote crazy bizarre little stories with his weird doodles. I would have sooooo grabbed that if I'd seen it! Don't know if its worth anything, but its sooooo cool! Edit: just looked it up. Tons of mugs with his art....but that one sold on Ebay last for $24.95 and its a heat-sensitive color change mug. Wish you grabbed it! I am gonna be keeping my eyes open on trips to goodwill now! Usually I grab Laurel Burch mugs...because COLOR! and CATS! but..Edward Gorey? Oh HELL YEAH lol
The ‘kinda weird’ black and white mug that you kinda liked is a design by Edward Gorey. You might know his art from the PBS Mysteries intros. You really do have a good eye! 😊
In the first part when you were looking in the carts, there was a white pitcher with red dots - I would have loved a look on the bottom … probably not but it gave me Tiffany & Co vibes … T&C do pink and blue rabbit piggy banks fyi worth a look
I would love to do what not, but I find it so hard to learn so far because it’s still a lot of technical things. Am old, internet came out when I graduated. Lol. I need a tech, computer genius. I think I will try what not again. I signed up about a month ago and I got excepted. I tried a sale for one hour , didn’t sell one item. so it was pretty tough. Much ❤🥰👋🏽🇨🇦
I believe towards the end of your video you had your had on a waterford crystal glass. Anyway i live your videos i learn so much from you. You are an awesome mom and a fantastic resellers educator. Keep up the good work!!!!
I found a lamp several years ago very similar in style to the one you passed up at the 1st GW that you thought could be Murano. Mine is pink and gold and has the original Murano stickers on it, & while the glass is perfect the base has some oxidation on it. Still beautiful.
I sell at flea markets and it has been terrible because people do not have extra money with food and housing so high. Try to get a good deal on a used car. People have to hold on to cars extra time.
01:20 I've seen oval Mackenzie Childs stickers before, but the vase looked messy. Almost bought some Orrefors clear bowls the other day, but they were so heavy I couldn't pick them up. Thankfully someone else nabbed them and removed temptation!
4:56 i believe this is Magnor Norway. I recently found a very similar piece and it had the original sticker. Hope that's helpful! Love your videos and hope to run into you tomorrow in Springfield!!! ❤️
LOL! Jocelyn, I was yelling at my screen as soon as you picked up the Frankoma. I learned what it was when Dagny listed one in her store! I found one soon after and I have it in my shop. I like to stump my customers with it! ❣
I know when it comes to high end pieces or a large set of something, you should search and compare prices. But I have had things that were very common and I sold them, not all buyers shop and compare.
It's scary when you see something odd happen. I was at my closest Goodwill last week and two ladies were physically shoving each other over a cart and yelling. I need plates too but don't think I would have felt like digging through those large piles either. Haha. Have a good week!
I have this huge Wedgwood platter with a meat juice indention on one end. On the bottom it says "Wedgwood Pearl" then another word that I think is the pattern. I'm fairly certain that it worth $300-400 or even more?? I got it from an old house that the front door has written in spray paint "Do not enter, condemned by demons". That didn't bother me in the least because I have Jesus in my heart and even the devil is afraid of God! Anyhoo, I have several pieces of antique class wear and stuff that I think is worth some money and I would love it if you would at least look at some pictures of my Wedgwood Platter. I also have several of those expensive crystal glasses, I think the name starts with a W. I'm not home or I'd look to see. I'm staying with my wonderful Aunt who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 😢. Thank you for another great video and God bless you
You should record your What Not sales and post them on RUclips, they’re so fun that I would rewatch them when I miss your live sales. ❤
Yes, please!
I would sign up for What Not if you did.
It would be a win-win! One event could turn into two delightful viewings!
Yes please I always miss them or can't stay for the whole thing 😊😊
❤❤❤❤
Happy Mother's Day.
I loved and really miss the Pier One stores! They had a lot of interesting stuff.
They are still online
Totally agree! Yes they have online but, it was always one of my favorite stores!
I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!🌻
The Frankoma is a base. A tea light sets in the center and warms the dish above. My mom had a light brown set.
I have a brown one as well. Funny enough, I thought it was an ashtray when I got it. I love the shape.
I thought it was a taco holder😅😅😅
@@lauraansara5066 me too! 😂😂
The glazed part goes up, and the pan that sits on it has a handle. I have a tan one.
My favorite thing today was the pier 1 yellow canisters
That mug was an Edward Gorey PBS Mystery! heat activated mug
Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day. 💐🦉🦊
The mug at 14:50 is illustrated by Edward Gorey. His mugs have 100%+ sell-thru and go for $10-$25.
I still have mine from the 1980’s
I love his art!!
A PBS Masterpiece Mystery heat changing mug.
6:26 Frankoma piece. It's a warmer stand that goes under a bean pot. Marcrest made the same.
Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother's Day Jocelyn❤
Happy Mother's Day!!
Happy Mother's Day 💐💐💐
Since the Lalique, I see a whole lot of clear glass and crystal making it’s way into your cart

Maybe it's time for a Clear Glass Whatnot sale.
Edit: the weird mug at the second Goodwill featured artwork by Edward Gorey.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Nice to see everyone!

Oh Jocelyn the “weird” mug was an Edward Gorey design for Masterpiece Mystery in PBS,..I think the mug has some value
Happy Mothers Day Jocelyn & to your Mom as well 💝
Happy Mothers Day! 😊
Not too many finds this time, but what you did get looks really nice. Thanks Jocelyn. Hope you had a great Mother's Day! 😊💐🍰
I think the Frankoma piece is the chaffing dish for the candle down in the well and the casserole sitting up on the wavy edge.

The Seraphim Classics was a bolo. The pond itself without the angels sold for $149. I can imagine the complete set at least $500

Liked the analogy about how to remember Canton. I can remember that. Thanks. Hope you had a good Mothers day!

Oh wow. That Wagner “clock” edges toward blasphemy for me. 😮 I can usually roll with whatever repurposing people want to do but 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😢😢😢
My puppy , Lola Caroline eats and drinks from Limoges china. She is a princess.

Always pick up glass or crystal crosses! The Francoma piece is a candle holder ( white side up).
In the first part when you were looking in the carts, there was a white pitcher with red dots - I would have loved a look on the bottom … probably not but it gave me Tiffany & Co vibes … T&C do pink and blue rabbit piggy banks fyi worth a look
Be safe out there. Ive seen crazy things. You never know what ppl will do. Kind of disturbing throwing a cart
I own one of those crystal crosses. It belonged to my husbands Mom That's what makes it special to us
I always see what trend your going for in your cart, 1st stop was yellow and white, it looked magnificent! Lol
The Crystal crosses are Royal limited made for May co stores in the 1990’s
Happy mother’s day
Ohhh darn! I would have gotten the Disney plates and such...but I am a "Disnerd."
I wld have too … one plate $8-12 dollars seems like it wld have been profitable … Mickey Mouse will have to wait
Hi,
I'm not sure you noticed that the demitasse cups only had one saucer. Bummer... the blue planter/bowl is a beautiful colour!
Joselyn I watch you every night, just wanted to wish you a very Happy Mother's day!😅

Liked the bowl you got for yourself

Happy Mother's day to you and your mother as well.❤hugs from Ephrata, Pa.🤗
Ephrata, PA is my hometown! Born and raised there, now living in York for past 2.5 years and missing Lancaster County everyday!! ❤❤
Happy Mother’s Day, Jocelyn! 🥰
francome, put a tealight, warmer for tea or casserole
The Frankoma is a teapot warmer base.
I found a lamp several years ago very similar in style to the one you passed up at the 1st GW that you thought could be Murano. Mine is pink and gold and has the original Murano stickers on it, & while the glass is perfect the base has some oxidation on it. Still beautiful.
I always love your videos
I love the Go Go’s

Those Pier One canisters were cute.😊 I hope you had a Wonderful Mother’s Day!🫶🏻💐
Ahhh that’s a Wagner cast iron. Other than griswald they’re actually worth something but not with a big hole in the center 😂
At about 845, there was a piece of Royal Worcester Evesham Gold porcelain, an oval shaped casserole dish. Beautiful piece.
Agreed. I collect it
I wanted a look at those pieces for the prices too bc I used to collect it and there cld be resale value there for sure!
Thanks for commenting on the Evesham Vale porcelain China dishes … I was scrolling comments to see ❤
The shopping cart thrower went in there to get that cup n saucer moments after you had sniped it!
I loved the floral vase you passed on early in the video😔
Thanks for the video enjoyed it and I will catch you on your next one
That weird dish by frankonoma is a base to the bean pot.
4:56 i believe this is Magnor Norway. I recently found a very similar piece and it had the original sticker. Hope that's helpful! Love your videos and hope to run into you tomorrow in Springfield!!! ❤️
What a great Walk-through. What great finds. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Way back in the day my Dad worked forA&P.
That Francoma goes with a casserole boy. You should have kept it.
I love the blue bowl!
LOL! Jocelyn, I was yelling at my screen as soon as you picked up the Frankoma. I learned what it was when Dagny listed one in her store! I found one soon after and I have it in my shop. I like to stump my customers with it! ❣
7:29 giant box of Fontanini..... 😂😂😂
Happy Mother's Day!................I would have put the frypan in the booth for $34.99 ;)
Need to watch vintage bowls of Pyrex. They are coated in lead and considered unsafe. 😮 Made me so sad him I had to stop using mine.
The shopping cart likely ran into his car. Happens all the time here. People don't return them to the corral or store.
The bean pot warmer has sat in my booth for a tear without being sold. Tempted to throw it in the dumpster.
hi, love the blue bowl. looks Danish in style to me; but i am probably wrong.
Love that glass Celtic cross!❤
I know when it comes to high end pieces or a large set of something, you should search and compare prices. But I have had things that were very common and I sold them, not all buyers shop and compare.
Frame 18:04 Wow, Thats the Biggest Garlic Grinder I've ever seen !! lol
I have that honey jar. It has a lid with a bear figurine on top.
I wonder if that’s the jar for the bear lid she got quite awhile back
@@nancyhettinger7467 no. It's different from that one.
Dagny picked up a Frankoma piece just like that in a video a few weeks back!
The crystal cross is waterford
Some days you get lemons...some days you get lemonade.😘
Telaflora has a clear cross. I would research that for those crosses.
The rose Canton vs rose medallion info is helpful.
I would have been curious to find out how much that saraphem classics sold for because online itself from anywhere from 250 to 450,without the case
So I thought the warmer was a taco holder!
Me too 😂
That frankoma is a stand for a bean pot
The weird mug was Edward Gorrie every collectab.e and uncommon think M asterpiece Theater PBS ..😮
.m
Rae Dunn Dog Mom is somewhat rare, about $22. I am a dog mom of 2. :)
The glass shade may be Houze/Houzex glass rather than Akro Agate.
It's scary when you see something odd happen. I was at my closest Goodwill last week and two ladies were physically shoving each other over a cart and yelling. I need plates too but don't think I would have felt like digging through those large piles either. Haha. Have a good week!
Nice smaller haul!
I think the weird mug was a Edmund Gorey cartoon. PBS gave away a lot of mugs when they had fundraisers during Mystery!
What out fo flying shopping carts! 😅
Thanks for sharing! 💞✌

I am new to your channel. Loving it! Where do you sell the pieces you buy?
“Peint main” just means hand painted in French.
