Besides the resemblance, they have the same conflict resolution philosophy: someone gets in Flatley's face, he tapdances them into surrender, smiling the whole damn time ;)
If anyone is wondering what they are saying at 6:22, I THINK they may be counting to 4 in Gaelic. I vaguely remember a friend of mine, who is part Irish, telling me this years ago. This makes sense as the Warriors advance forward, as if to do battle right after that. If I'm wrong, please correct me, and I'll stand corrected. :)
all this kick ass choreography aside, ill bet she was all, "Michael Flatley, i was just playin, and suddenly these dudes came up and broke my flute in half," "No problem babe," (takes the flute, rubs it on his ass, gives it back) "WOW....you have magic asscheeks" (smiles) "I know......)
i found myself in a situation like this, tried dancing my way out of it, it worked for a while but then they started punching me, turns out the power of dance can't solve the worlds problems!
How does he dance in those trousers? I did Irish dancing for a couple of years and I would have hated if I had to have danced in leatherlike trousers, thankfully tights and dresses were for me

I know you're being sarcastic. People who have worked with him, like Jean Butler, have said that he's arrogant, so it is probably true. I just can't help seeing how many people say that when they watch him perform. I just wondered if those were the vibes he gave off.

they did something similar to this in Lord of the dance. They break her flute and he comes in and battles them and then fixes it for her to play again
