Sorry that you never had a horse, as you grew up! Horses are wonderful! My Dad always said that" to handle a horse, one needed to know more than a horse". Horses teach each of us so much! You must learn to pay attention to the signals the horse gives you. Cole, you would have done well, with a horse. You have a gentle spirit! Horses do not do well when people are mean to them....which you would not do.
I think I may need help. I may have a sunny farm Addiction. Lol. I thought I would have watched them all by now but they just keep coming. Thanks for the videos.
I gotta say you are loosening up more in front of the camera , busting jokes and what not and I think that’s what’s contributed to millennial farmer channel , informative and entertaining... keep it up my man .. “ you never let me have a horse “ 😆😆
Send Toby off to get trained. You will never tire of watching a good cattle dog work, and when you get one up to speed you'll be surprised how easy the next generation learns from them.
My head would totally freeze in winter if I wear one of those hats like your father. I am also having my hoodie cap on always when its cold, never understood why my father too prefers baseball caps even when its cold :)
You know I’ve saw a lot of y’all’s trucks and nobody up there has big tires. You come to South Georgia and they don’t even sell trucks with less than 35’s on in !! Great video as usual!!
In Georgia y'all have more clay so those big tires work to your advantage by using the moisture in the Earth to help stay on top of the land those big tires don't work in snow as the tires pushes snow forward in front of the truck until it builds up to the point you get stuck
I laughed when you used the shop vac on your dad. Your fear of horses was interesting. Tame horses don't bother me but I've been around some wild ones - we have a herd of wild horses here in Missouri that live in the Ozarks - and they can be rather intimidating but enjoyable to watch from afar.
You just have to have a mutual respect and understand that it’s not a matter of if somethin happens it’s a matter of when somethin happens. I’ve definitely been bucked off twice, kicked and knocked over and I’m just stupid and keep gettin on😂
Good stuff guys. I'm slowly working my way back to the beginning. Boy, did you get a reaction from my wife on Billy somebody. Not happy. No idea who that is.
I have no problem being around and working with cows, but I too am scared of horses.. And they know it at always pick on me.. theyve run me into the round bale bale holder many times.. and I swear they laugh at me!!!! I just live horses tho.. they are very smart animals..
1. I thought the implants were like RFID chips, but they are actually some kind of supplement? 2. Was your daddy seriously asking whether you were into people heifers or people steers? LOL. That's too funny. (Not that we care., because we support you whichever team you play for!)
Hi Mate...🇦🇺 Nice looking mob of cattle you got there, always good working cattle when there quiet. I couldn't help but notice you have no cover over your race and cattle crush..
@@samanthaflynn6140 yes, it's out side.. Here in Australia on our farm and most other farms, the cattle race and processing is often done undercover... Gets pretty hot here in Australia and especially in the wet season we have rainy days...😁👍
On a good day that is hard work. Dn't rely too heavily on Ben-gay. Get a good back-brace and wear it all the time when working. Walking around with that selfie-rod is hard on your back!
Hey enjoy your videos and down here in Arkansas Western Arkansas we have quite a bit of losses due to lightning with the cattle at times I was wondering how much of a problem that is up there for you
Does leaf blowers work better for dusting off tractors?? I've been using my air compressor idk what psi it is but the tank is basically 6ft tall. I'm 6'2
Sonne Farms id you ever get time go to the National Western stock show or North American Livestock Expo they are really cool especially if you do cattle.
Your ol Man is the star 🌟 of your channel!!!
Love your Dad's calm personality. A great teacher and role model!!!
And I like Jeff's new pup.

Thanks for the video gents. Dad is good at mentoring the boys. Nice to see family making it happen on the farm. Scott Alberta Canada
Glad you enjoyed!
You kill me, it's a horse Dad, Oh the look he gave was perfect. You guys are fun.
haha glad you enjoyed
Before 4x4s and SxSs you'd need horses to dash-about and chase cattles.
the young bucks wouldn't give the poor old guy a break..... Another good video cole! Also love the scripture at the end of the description.
Thanks for watching Mike!
Looking forward to seeing the new tractor!
Toby is a cute little dog. Ruff ruff !
He sure is!
the wise cracks and the old man warming up has improved the watch time no doubt
Yankum ropes baby! Yeah!
You know, there's this machine called an "Australian cattle dog"
Perfect for large paddocks mate !
They also answer to "Jeff"
The ole man, “steers or heifers?”
🤣
thanks everyone for the class, and hard working Americans ,
PEACE CRAIG
Tobey is sooooo cute!
I like watching all of your videos i am a big fan of farming
Jeff Toby is adorable 😍
Good video Dad /Jeff / & the man Cole stay safe & warm ! Hello from Daniel from central Mississippi
Thank you!
Horses. One end kicks, the other end bites, the bit between can crush you and you can fall off! What’s to like?
You are one true farmer and I luv your vids
Thanks!
I see Jeff has the same kind of dry humor as his brother!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Great video, quickly becoming one of my favorite channels!
Thanks Andrew!

At 2:35, so true. Also for every pound of hay a horse puts out three pounds of manure.
Momma cows are far more scary than horses lol can't wait to see the future puppies!

Me either! They can't keep much warm in!
U might want to look into using ginger for your soar joints. Grate ginger n put in paper towels n on joints, it will heat up n u will feel better.

I love the way Jeff cracks that flag at the cattle
Love the videos. I appreciate it

👍👌❤🇨🇦, a good cow dog and you could just stand and watch and yell commands, worth their weight in gold
good video.I`m looking forward to your next one.
Thanks Frank! This Saturday!
Another solid vlog Cole and in places it seemed like you were filming in black and white your conditions are so stark🤣
sorry to be such a mom but sure wish I could convince y’all to wear the seatbelts!! also, oh my goodness, Toby sure is cute!
"Put some BenGay on my back" 🤣 Cole wait till ya little older.

I just dont want to get bit or kicked
@@SonneFarms Yeah getting kicked wouldn't be any fun. Fortunately tame horses rarely do that.

Them old guys can out work me
That’s why I like my gates in corners.
Me too, the gate in the corner was full of snow. If it would have been open they would've went in right away
Good stuff guys. I'm slowly working my way back to the beginning. Boy, did you get a reaction from my wife on Billy somebody. Not happy. No idea who that is.
"Steers or heifers"....that look on your face cracked me up. Thanks Brian.
well you know. classic jeff
More Jeff! Shameless exploitation of that adorable puppy! Thanks for explaining what pour is, Frontline for cattle.
Bingo!
Dad’s a Billie Eilish fan - that’s great!
P.S. I got one of this ropes too - used it a lot this summer in the hayfield. Works great!
Sweet! What size do you have?
I don’t remember - it’s been a few years. It’s like 30 feet and good for 50,000 lbs. Or something like that.
Cole, try “Tiger Balm” on your back. Gets much warmer than Ben Gay. It does gave a strong smell. Available on Amazon.
Sweet thanks!
Cole, repeat after me, "Math is my friend. Math is my friend." Keep saying it until you believe it. 😊😊
those ropes are good but you got to make sure you you screw in Clovis will come through windshield so use a screw in clevis for safety's sake
Cole you should let someone do all of your finances. You are definitely good at farming unless you have add or subtract.
With your math skills it might be a good idea to let Tiffany handle the checkbook.

Gotta admit I laughed way too hard at "the bigger the better"
"Feed 3 cows for what a horse eats"
VERY VERY TRUE WORDS!!!
lol so very true. cant tell a horse person that though
Horses are almost as expensive as having children.
Nice vid so fun watching the channel great job

They are hormones that help increase efficiency within the cattle rumen. Haha no he was not serious

Does dad seriously like Billie Eilish???
I guess I stereotyped him to George Straight, Garth Brooks, maybe Alan Jackson!!!🤣🤣🤣

Jeff and dad look very strong.?

Very seldom an issue around here. We have had it before, but not for many years
Have u ever looked at a lewis cattle oiler for your lice on the bulls? I use them and sell them. They are nice
Does it help with flies during the summer too?
@@SonneFarms yes it does. Year around use. U put in #1 diesel as a carrier then an insecticide
How much water on average does each cow drink every day? Thanks for the video.
During the warmer months around 8-10 gallons per day, its probably closer to 4-6 during the winter
Sonne Farms Very cool. I thought it would be a lot but not that much. Thanks!
It's a forgone conclusion here in Oklahoma, I WILL get my equipment stuck....(Shhhhhhh, just don't tell my wife)
Tell your dad that if he is ever doing nothing that I'll help him because I am great at doing nothing.
You guys using RalGro ?

What’s the implants for what your putting in the cattle’s ears. Thanks Jamie from Ireland
They help the calves grow more efficiently

Be glad you are not riding a horse to tend the cattle! Math is not your enemy, it is about your money.
My dad used to say the same thing, 3 cows for every horse. He still let me have horses.

What happened to your back?
Im a whopping 22 years old and I get sore haha
What did you go to school for? And you’ve graduated right?
Agronomy, correct!
