    I've been waiting for Flurry life forever. Season 5 is my time to shine. I built a flurry build for season 4 just because I wanted to play flurry. Guess I'm playing Flurry again next season.

    Even though they buffed sorc some, the class is still extremly weak sadly. Until they give us another weapon slot, and echantment slot.

    the staff for sorc looks terrible 😮‍💨 nobody will really want to use as it's damage to CC bad for bosses unless staggered and we will lose focus/space for aspects
    having 1 weapon sucks

      Staff doesn’t look great but sorc kills bosses in staggers anyway that’s already a sorc issue this staff won’t make it much worse in that regard

      @@Da5kone001 for higher tier pit's it won't be much help as the more you stagger the boss the harder it is to stagger them again and no damage will be in effect until they are and their hp is Big so the damage to cc will be useless until then

      Rogues need a unique that would replace the need for Dark Shroud. I hate that every single rogue needs to use that thing, not just mechanically, but it also looks mighty out of place on every non-shadow rogue build.

    Correction on the necro weapon update , they can use axes and MACES as stated in the livestream , the sword and axes was actually supposed to be maces and axes , since they can already use swords.

      @@Michael-wp9xt if i gotta swap builds for speed farming then swap builds for bossing then swap builds for pushing not only is that incredibly annoying but honestly it takes away from the fun of playing a character. I didnt level a bash/flay/ww/leapquake barb i leveled a ww barb and a bash barb. Please dont min max the fun out of this fucking game loadouts are cancer.

      ​@@Da5kone001100% agree with you. I need a reason to create a bossing build or a good AoE clear build, it gives me a reason to keep playing and create another character. Being able to just hit a button and load up an entirely different build onto my same character would ruin a lot of the fun.

    I think that's exactly how the Druid staff works. It casts the ultimate on an enemy the first time you hit them with an Earth skill. Hence the affixes that give you crit chance against stunned enemies and attack speed on Earth skills which perfectly synergize with the ult.
    I only don't know if it will get the upgrade bonuses like Spirit gain and CDR

    My sorc incinerate build is doing well this season, currently clearing 115 pits, but now I'm gonna loose over 100x damage from a single paragon node. I don't run immortal builds and survival is hard already, now we just got more nerfs to defense for those of us not abusing the system. RIP burn sorc! I guess they only want sorc to play frozen orb and chain lightning

      yeah i was looking at new talents and saw buffs to crackling and spear. but then saw they hard nerfed the crackling paragon glyph. so like err...no ponit? CL does like sick with the new unique tho.

      They changed how these nodes scale for every class in the game. They added caps to every class.

      It is not 100x difference, it is max of before divided max after cap, and get back damage by shifting points into something else. However everybody will loose all uncapped nodes. Read the patch notes: there are no more uncapped things. This is probably the biggest nerf to bleed barb which could scale touhsands in two separate nodes (and exploit it by using rogue tempers for Vuln and CritDmg). So dont take that change as a nerf to Sorc, since every class will get the same treatment, all were using one or more of such scaling nodes somewhere, and this is a way to stop this mindless stacking of one stat everywhere and make more varied builds. Just to name a few such nodes: burning instinct/critdmg, precision/critdmg, victimize/vuln, wither/int, gushing wounds/critdmg hemorrage/vuln, thunderstruck/dmgtoclose or distant, etc.
      It might make burn sorc weaker if there are no rebalances to it, but you will probably get some in the next season if not post ptr. But in general this is a good change even if burn sorc is rip for a season or two since it sets a clean state where no build can escalate to 100x more damage than some other build, which is what happens now.
      And even more importantly, since you can cap those nodes, you can now perhaps start using other tempers or uniques in places where only those tempers would work (because there was no cap to the multiplier before), so builds might get more interesting and balanced. However I suggest you try a few different builds on PTR with some theorycraft adjustments and give feedback for what you think seems weak. They can then do more rebalances after ptr. In the end you dont care about having a non capped node, what you care is to have a viable build and freedom of choice. That's all.

    Barb with Flay doing 140.000.000.000 dmg will get buff... meanwhile Druid... thanks, Blizzard.
    To make Druid work they should have:
    1. Add 2x 1H weapons (if so tiny Rogue can handle them then such a big boy as Druid can wear them too)
    - this means 2 more gems, 2 more offensive stats, and 2 more offensive aspects
    2. Reduce spirit cost of Core skills by 30% so Pulverize from 35 to 25, Tornado from 40 to 30, etc
    3. Remove some useless stats from Uniques (Insatiable Fury, Wildheart Hunger) and add Spirit per second because regular Chest and Boots can have it.
    4. Add native spirit generation like Sorc has mana generation by default
    5. EnhancedPulverize should make Pulverize Overpowers every single time. Too OP? Pulverize can hit for 400mln while Barb's Flay bleeds for 1.5 billion per second!
    6. Remove "up to" from Legendary Nodes like Earthen Devastation so Druid would have some "infinite" scaling as Barb has
    After all these changes Druid still would be way worse than Barbarian but at least from some D-tier, it would become a solid A-tier and 130+ PIT pusher.
    Sorc also needs a lot of buffs...
    As for the QoL - increase the number of materials per slot from 50 to 999 and Obols from 2500 to 100.000.

    The door of the council opens at wave 5, bonus chests with guaranteed GA drops cost 250 Aether... This reminds me the small letter in contracts, now i can only imagine and honestly knowing how Blizzard is, that probably you get 1 Aether every Infernal Horde, 250 to get the mats to open 1 chest.

    Has anyone looked at Rain of Arrows (maybe) Penetrating shot rogue with the new Exploit weakness paragon node yet?
    Combo points for 100% lucky hit, rain of arrows for knockdown, pen shot into the pack making exploit weakness stacks fly up which just instantly deletes everything that's not a boss on screen. Sounds kinda busted.

      Yeah they need to allow tempering or massively buff them, cause when a fcking yellow item is basically outperforming them by getting access to 1-2 legendary tempers it's a fcking DISGRACE. I mean, show me a single build that uses trash like Skyhunter, Scoundrel's Leathers, etc. It's just sad.

    Using the Ursine Horror aspect and using shockwave on Amulet will make that Unique staff busted as Shockwave is an earth skill so we will see if it will be viable for pulverize. As far as the Tempering goes, one thing I would like for them to implement is when you choose a tempering, You can also select sub category for that tempering (i.e. Caltrops duration, Vul damage, etc). It will eliminate the hassle of gambling for the tempering you need.) I myself dislike the way the tempering chances goes when it comes to trying to temper correctly. The Auction House is a Terrible Idea to be honest. It would be flooded with items that have 1-4 GA and think its the best thing since slice bread. not to mention the outrageous prices they put on those items. If the Auction House does get put in game, there needs to be a max limit so these bots and gold sellers cant profit.

      @@Da5kone001 i think it is not fine to do 20 pit less to top build, while you take the same amount of time for your gear, and making it even worse is not the definition of fine for me. They should balance all classes the way they do with barb, to make them 2 S and 3 A tier viable build, they started to do this with rogue now it has 2 A tier build, and the best Druid, Necro, Sorc builds will be B tier at best and other build are like C. And playing with weak builds is fun until a point, but get worse really bad, when you play with friends, and you took the sime time and you got almost equal gear quality and one of them can do a 135 other one a 120 and the third one 110.

      @@folkmetalkid then find another genre, ARPGS wont ever be balanced get over it or move on. No class needs to be able to do over pit 101 in 3-4 mins it literally is only for bragging rights and anyone that actually plays ARPGs knows your competing against your peers. Players dont want perfect balance they just think they do; perfect balance is homogenizing the classes so that every build/class does the same shit its fucking boring. Stop comparing classes they are meant to be different. Every single class can farm up their 12/12 masterworks at a decent speed and can complete all uber content in the game EASILY, asking them to balance around top tier pit pushing when it gives you nothing is the worst take.

      @@Da5kone001 This is such an easy cop out answer, it's ridiculous. It's easy talking when the main class you enjoy is a Barbarian since that one has S tier builds in every single season. Every class should be fairly balanced so everyone gets to play their favourite class each season and enjoy whatever endgame Blizzard is giving us.
      Your way of thinking nurtures lazy devs so they don't have to put effort in balancing classes. Otherwise we might as well delete all other classes except Barbarian and call the game Barblo. What point do other classes have existing if they are "supposed" to trickle behind Barbarians according to your flawed logic?!

Read my comment again, EVERYONE can CURRENTLY play their favorite class theres nothing stopping you you can do every single piece of content in the game that a barb can on any class. edit: just so you dont assume again and look worse i play necro, and not a minion necro but a blight necro hence my first comment; the context clues were all there and you just came in with a complete miss.

    10:50 this tempering shit needs to be properly addressed sooner or later. Bricking super valuable items will make it so that RMTers will ruin the trade economy by overpricing specific items. Like what happens now, people will sell items for the gold cap cause they know there's someone out there to buy it. Those who can buy gold for money will just buy more gold to re-try tempering it. Meanwhile we're dropping super rare 2-3 GA items that will be thrown in the garbage if we fail our tempers. Not to mention decent 2GA items that could be utilized in different characters will be far below ideal with no way to reuse it.
    The best course of action would be to allow 12/12 masterwork to reset or replenish some tempering attempts.

    so they basically just tweaked features added in season 4 and will add some new uniques/aspects...and a survive the waves mode. another mode of endgame is nice for sure, but overall this is pretty meh. no quality of life features at all.

    I don't even remember what was going on in season 2 but I remember it was great running around the world doing Whispers. Now the world is just Helltides that all look the same no matter where they are. I thought they were on to something in season 2. I get sad the few times I now do actually see the world now when I have to open a waypoint or something. I hate that they took the beautiful world and made it the same drab Helltide. How boring...

    I really wish they made uniques better. Like wtf, look at the shite, imagine what build it wants to be in, then make it have those stats! Most uniques might have somewhat useful power, but very few of them have stats good enough to justify not using a normal legendary with 2 tempers and an aspect.
    And I hope they fcking fix the Scoundrel's Leather's already. I don't think it ever worked. It's either significantly bugged or has some sort of internal CD, so you basically only get like 1 trap proc per Inner SIght, 2 a few times, and 3 procs is the maximum possible but almost never happens... which is weird since the item has like 80% proc chance, supposedly. So how the F do you only get like 1 trap in 4 seconds? Should be like 6 traps per proc tbh

      they literally spent like 10 mins talking about uniques in the livestream. theyre going to buff the extra stats and add some tempering stats to them where it fits they just didnt show any on screen so wudi had no screenshots

      you forgot Sheperd :D. but no, rip EVERY uncapped scaling node on EVERY class. Rip victimize, rip precision, rip wither, rip burning instict, etc etc. Barb got twice ripped on bleed for example: rip gushing wounds and rip hemorrage. But this makes sense. Uncapped scaling nodes were killing build balance. If a build could use it an another not there was no way to make that other build work when the other build stacked every possible stat into it. This brings every class that was using such an uncapped node to a flat level (and all the top builds were using one (or more like barb)). Not having 1000% to 2000%x multipliers available is a good thing, trust me. They might finally be able to start really balancing something instead of just pushing cookie cutters each season. I'm not saying there will be balance in S5, just that this allows for balance in the future. It took them some time to realize that tho, seems like a newbie game design team. Another thing that this brings in is that tempers will no longer be so required on every item, meaning more build diversity and alternative choices (i.e. less cookie cutters, easier personalisation of builds, and LESS BRICKING (you dont get the stat on one ring? if you get in on the other and still hit the cap you might be fine - with no cap every item that did not get that was bricked, even if what it got was otherwise useful)).
      What was before "stack everything onto that multiplier" will now become "fulfil that multiplier and chose what you will do with the rest". But there is one thing where they did not cap, and will remain detrimental: duration tempers. Since they ar euncapped you will want duration on all places where applicable. E.g. flay duration or caltrop duration. These should also be capped to 100-150% imho. It would be a nerf to Hurricane druid, flay barb, caltrops on rogue, but it can be compensated elsewhere if they chose so, but it would open some temper variety on rogue and barb. On druid they could make it be able to cap on a one hander with a masterwork hit, opening more variety on druid to use one hander and offhand, which is currently rip (I might be wrong here... is there a viable druid build that uses one hander temper apart from the bugged fleshrender + boldchieftain? - yes you heard it... you can spam debilitating roar ad infinitum due to bugged bold chietain giving more cdr on roar shout).

    My big concern with the new bossfights is that they took the wrong lesson from Lillith being unpopular. Mechanically interesting fights with telegraphed attacks are FUN, look at PoE and now PoE2. Lillith wasn't hated because of the concept, it was hated because the execution was absolutely horrendous. Animations didnt match hitboxes at all whatsoever, it was poorly balanced, etc. I really really hope that the bosses aren't the same monotony as the current pit experience.
    LOVE the direction we are headed, and really really hope they are making things interesting with the big fights.

      Agreed. I am quite excited for season 5, 6 and the expansion but they arent fully perfect updates, more bosses like Lilith (in theory) would be amazing. I wish whispers were less tied to helltides and became their own thing that existed different parts of the world
      Blizzard is doing like 5 steps forward 2 steps back i feel like BUT its much better than we were doing 6 months ago so theres hope lol

    Nima Blizzard, season 5 is too bullying Denuy. The only output damage storm is only 40%. Nima Blizzard doesn't like Denoy to delete Denuy's profession. Why torture us? The previous earth has been cut off. How can we play the season?

    I did not like the nerf of heartseeker. It will become a B tier build now. Yes I know it was likely to be fixed but it was a very enjoyable build to play and I don't understand. Why are barbarians who are constantly super overpowered not a bug and victimize is?

      I'd settle for shared glyph XP for all characters. I don't have a problem leveling 3 rogues (doesn't take THAT long with all the changes), I DO have problem wasting countless hours farming glyph XP for glyphs I already got to 21 on the same goddamn class even!

    They should have gone the opposite way: what still not there, loot filter, loadouts, (no AH is a good thing) and then at a later date, make what they did for S5.
    Still, even if they did, we would still find a way to complain about something.. time will tell.

    Potion while CC kills the point of CC. We do it to monsters, they can do it to us, all fair.
    Not sure who complained but it's like you attach someone on a chair, but loose enough that he can escape.. useless.

    Rogue is getting shafted so much with the "bug fixes".... those things were the only things that kept some of our builds somewhat close to barbs and necrosat least in terms of damage output (ofc being much more fragile it still meant only like 65% of Barb score in the Gauntlet at best). Now we can just go play another class. No point being the most fragile class if you also do the least damage WHILE ALSO requiring the most setup for any damage (on most rogue builds). This kind of killed the S5 hype for me tbh. Especially since the other builds for rogue are so much worse (like most effin require you pushing like 5 buttons to engage a single pack of enemies and only really work if there's enough mod density anyway. If you have a full screen of stragglers, you have no way of dealing with them (so most just run straight through and ignore all those mobs unless the map demands they all are killed), so you're just hoping for maps with very narrow corridors).

    Sorcerer needs a massive defense buff because they are very squishy and they are getting multiple Nerf's and only 2 buffs while barb gets more flay buffs. The shit makes no sense to me and there's no frozen orbs buffs the blizzard buff is a complete joke and needs a 160% increase in damage minimum because blizzard is doing no damage. They are definitely barbarian biased in blizzard that is easy to tell. Also twisting blades only gets a 5% damage increase? That's laughable and necromancer got a huge nerf with shadow blight and because of the I'm not touching necromancer again because that 70% nerf is going to make it look like a joke. Let's Nerf every one else and buff barbarian that's already the strongest class 🤦

      Tempering is fine. Yes it sucks to brick an item but a lot of the time it's fine and it is way more rewarding when you do get the stats you want

    How is this a win? More uniques and no new bosses to come with them… it’s already hard enough trying to get the necklace for FO this season… we can still Brick items, it’s unfit to do pits with friends. There is no in hale trading system… how is this a win? It’s still difficult to get the roll you want at the occultist … look I know they want player retention but there comes a point where it gets too grindy and it’s unfun. I don’t mind the grind, but make it worth it. Usually 4 hours of game time every day. To grind to not even be able to get gold gear to make your build functional? No, not a win. More trash items just to sort so we stay in game. Again, there becomes a point when there is too much grind and it becomes unfun. There is no way they don’t own a RWT site. Again,ptw crap… ugh…

    Leveling, waaaay too easy.
    Too many legendaries dropping.
    Finding both uniques AND uber uniques is too easy.
    Make it stretch out god damnit.
    Tempering, even with extra rolls is just shite, sorry.
    Enchanting is possibly worse though. Sometimes rolling for 200 times for a affix...

      Why would you roll ANYTHING 200 times? I wouldn't even roll something 10 times without trashing the item and looking for a new one.
      Besides, everyone knows you find/buy items with the stats already on it so you can avoid this very non-problem...😅
