I truly believe that he needed to be around "regular people", someone who knew nothing about the music business, someone who couldn't afford everything they wanted, someone who could talk to him about everyday life. Someone who was his friend, because he was a good person, not because he was the most famous person in the world. I know I could have been that person.

I wish wish wish wish wish this song would've got major US airplay. The first time I heard it was the weekend after he passed and a radio station was encouraging real fans to make requests of the songs of his that most people hadn't heard or forgot about. I fell in love with it instantly. This is a prime example that even though he was known to be the King of Pop, MJ had SOUL. And I don't know, maybe it's me, but there's a subtle homage to Marvin Gaye's After the Dance in the melody. but I dig this song so much!
