You have one of the very best Monster tanks on youtube...it makes sense, and the fish are very active..a great sign.
Those barred Myleus Alex are also fruit eaters...grapes are good. Corn they love. In the wild they feed on the various trees that fruit over the year..and it falls into the water.
WOW 🤩 your fish 🐠 the clarity of the water 💦 and the decor Speaks Volumes of Grace, looking forward for the next Video 🤩👌🏼
Long time since you shared your tank Alex. I was wondering if you even still had it. Looks beautiful as usual. 🤙🏻
Great to see your tank doing good 😀
You were one of the inspirations for my 600gallon tank that I built 8 years ago!
Three in a row! Woohoo!!!
Don’t you know you can’t keep tetras with cichlids.... LOL.
Wow,daily updates.super....this video is awesome as always Alex.👍💪stay safe.
I friggin love ur aquarium!!!!
Very beautiful.. Great job
Where is Flagtail and other old fishes?
how did I miss an update on this tank. I got 8 EBH 2 years ago and just sold them a few months ago since they've grown to 8-10" front to end when I put them in my pond. Thanks for the update Alex
Alex, will you put in some yoyo loaches one day? I think it may add to the variety. It's up to you though.
that thing is hella nice!
Thanks for the update... How Manu remain alive? Since the last update
That's pretty awesome that you have basically the same fish from freaking 2013. You've never had the urge to change things up?
Yeah, I've had most of them since 2012/2013. To me, the novelty/excitement of adding new fish isn't typically worth the risk of introducing diseases and messing with the equilibrium.
still ,my perfect tank to this day ,maturity on those wide bars now is stunning
It would be nice to see your filtration system
Here's an old video. I removed the bio-balls since then.

Super ..... wonderful aquarium...can u mention the the height*width*depth of the tank?
Thank you. It's 10'x3'x4'
Magnificent aquarium! The fish 🐟🐠 are very happy and content.
What filtration systems do you use?
Thanks. I like to think they are living a good life. I'm running a basic sump with 100 Micron filter socks, Seachem Matrix Bio-media and Matala Mat (link below to video- I've since removed the bio-balls).

Un acuario realmente impresionante!
What’s the thickness of your glass? Is it Glass or acrylic?
1.25" thick acrylic
Alex Diaz thanks. I’m thinking about building a large tank now myself. Love your tank.
My inspiration and still working it out until now to achieve this gorgeous tank.

What is the width and height of an aquarium ?
10 feet long x 3 feet wide x 4 feet tall.
Or to use units of measurement that the entire world should be using, 305CM x 91CM x 122CM. 😁
Make a full video of aquarium filtration system etc

What’s the full stocking list? Especially for the smaller schooling fish

Alex Diaz wooow quite the impressive community! I’ve never even seen red fin Bala sharks! Are you gon get more balas and flagtails to make a school ? Those silver dollars are beautiful! And when those clown loaches get big the school will look amazing.

Yeah, I had never seen the Redfin Balas either. Not my favorite fish; passive feeders, not very robust and kinda dumb. I like keeping lower stock levels, so probably not going to add anything. If I were to add one fish right now it would be a Pink Tail Chalceus.
In regards to the loaches, the smallest one in there is at least 5" and the largest is around 10". They are all 10+ years old (the largest is at min 15 years old; the guy I bought him from had him for 5 years and he got him when he was already decent sized). Not sure if they are going to put on much more size.
Today one of the Arulius barbs died. They're the smallest fish in the tank. I measured her and was surprised at how big she was; just a hair under 6". The size of the tank distorts your perception of the size of the fish. Put any of them in a standard 55G and they'd look huge.
Not going to pull anyone out and stress them just to get a measurement, but I will as they pass away. I'm really curious to get a measurement on the SDs and Oscar.
Alex Diaz if those barbs are 6” then the silver dollars must be 10+ head to tail! That’s crazy! And I highly suggest pink tail chalceus they are absolute beauties and I keep my 8 incher in a 125 with various cichlids of different aggressions, Denisonii barb, black ghost knife, etc. and had no problems they got great personality and mine even shares top of tank with Burmese clouded archer school with no aggression. But very entertaining to watch during feeding time they are great top water hunters and I love giving the occasional cricket treat to watch the chalceus and archers in action. And yea I’m not huge fan of balas definitely not brightest fish I had 3 huge ones (8+ inches) for a while but they were a rescue from a 10g petco sales tank I couldn’t bear seeing them there and it was only $15 for all three so I bought them for my 125 for a while but I know that’s not big enough so I sold them to DWSDarius on RUclips and he has them now in a nice big tank. I’m glad I got them out that petco but definitely not the fish for me long term.
Wow What’s the thickness of the Glass? Is it drilled?
