Rod, can’t you guys get a permit to keep banned species ( walking catfish, snakehead, Asian Arros) as a public display/ educational purposes? Can’t sell but can still have a display tank
Maybe it's worth looking into. RUclips plus for educational purposes in store. There are always loopholes maybe able keep only males and or not allowed to breed.
It’s surprising to know that Indonesians keep snake heads and fish in general. I’d thought they’d prefer to eat them. My partner is Indonesian and she told me in their culture they’re not taught about being kind to animals etc
Snakeheads were used to be eaten and still is. It's just that the snakehead keeping trend has been on the rise for the past 2 years in Indonesia. And people here do keep animals as pets and love them and its not theyre not taught to love animals, it's probably a culture from a certain ethnicity that mostly keep animals for livestock purposes and probably got used to seeing them that way.
I watch all your videos but we rarely see the fish that aren't in the big tank. What happened to the moray eels and doc? Where is your lung fish? I miss seeing all the really special fish you used to keep in the round tank. Please can we have a feeding video for the fish that made it from Florida? Oh and Sheila having a banana please!
Right right on another one that loves arapaima I love arapaima those fish there are the creme-de-la-creme of monster fish I love when the males come into breeding and they start turning that bright red on their body towards the back of their tail about two-thirds of the fish turns bright red and they're beautiful
Hi Rod. You need to feed "❤️ BURGER" for more poping color on fresh water fish...👍 Ask the recipe from indonesian fish keeper hobbies for that kind of fish food if you visit Indonesia OKAY. 😅

Flying used to be a fun and relaxing experience and the large amount you paid ensured it would be a nice trip, now you pay a ton and stuff you in like a bunch of sardines lol.

Aquascape is quite big in Indonesia I think. They make crazy scapes by gluing smaller pieces of driftwood together, forming very intricate hardscapes.

Rod flowerhorns need water temp at 82 to 84 they thrive in warmer temps and they head gets bigger. and high protein food makes there humps bigger.
