It is time to make a walkthrough for this map of how to avoid 100% death and beat the boss without dying in the Decay map.
1. You need to have at least 65% Lightning Resist or max it to 90% just in case the Rare monster uses Curse debuff on you.
2. To defeat the Fungus Behemoth. You will need to pay attention to his telegraphed move. Avoid his root barrage that can stun and kill you and then you can start attacking him without dying. That's it.
