Love the presentation esp. the underside of the vehicle- you're the only one so far that gave us a good look under there. The chaptering, straightforward descriptions, camera focus and pans- excellent!
Great presentation bloke, does the Platinum have heads-up display? What power is the wifi charging for the phone, I find most of them are so slow they are a waste of time, espically if you have a case on the phone.
The rear axle looks like it has a matt coating on it. My 2017 Everest has 150k and has been everywhere on our camping trips. I've pre-ordered a Black Platinum Everest that should be in my garage around July 2023 :/
My 2cents worth. For my self as a full time heavy vehicle professional driver. The dark interior is a much welcomed experience. I have made the move and purchased the 2024 Platinum for that very reason of dark interior. The Sport option had a light colour interior that I did not desire. I looked prevously at some other brands but were all disappointing to me.
Our caravan has a credo wireless brake controller, will this conflict with the Everest brake controller. Will the trailer sway still work with wireless controller?
@@FordKnowHow There are Titanium and Titanium+ trims in South East Asia market. The Titanium has single turbo 2.0 engine, 4x2 drivetrain. The Titanium+ has bi-turbo 2.0 engine and part time 4x4 drivetrain

Why not comment on the inadequate rear axle rating of 1770kg? I'm so disappointed. It's just 20kg more than the old Everest. Which also is inadequate for any tow ball weight much above 250kg with passengers.
Can you get a v6 in a trend and spec it up? I don’t want 7 seats, I want boot space. Steel bash plates, 17 inch rims with heaps of rubber, no sunroof (Sunroof in Aus just makes no sense to me), a diff lock etc.
A stunning looking vehicle. Like the coast to coast dashboard design. I suppose the new Everest has a longer wheelbase than the old Everest just like the ranger does it?
@@fhclappen8595 are you sure? I do not think so. I would be very surprised if I did. I have watched a number of these reviews and dont think I have seen that.
Hi Mark. The previous generation Everest GVM and GCM upgrades were released from Lovells earlier this year. We understand that the Next Gen Ranger GVM upgrade is being engineered at the moment. We assume the Everest will follow. There has been no comment on when though. Sorry.
Great presentation. It’s way more of a city car than an off road 4wd though. Plastic bashplate, alternator low position, lots of aluminium parts rather than cast iron or steel. Finally towing capacity is misleading GCM-GVM= 6250-3150=3100kg. With a bull bar, roofrack, awning plus passangers you’re easily at GVM plus downball weight. Your realistic towing capacity is 3000-3100kg which is hardly an improvement to be fair.
I dont overly get your point. No one ever goes 4wding with stock bash plates, if they were even included.. these are rock plates, as in rocks bouncing off the road. These are not intended to replace proper bash plates, which are already available. The GVM/GCM issue is across literally every car bar the 70series of cruisers and Y62 patrol I believe. There are very few make/models that can be loaded to GVM and also tow there full rating whilst staying under GCM. Take the LC200/300 series crushers for instance. They have a shit payload for such a big car. As for Diff Alloy housing being aluminium.. it is just a housing, the internal gears is where the strength needs to be. The reason they have done the front ally and not the rear is the rear is exposed where the front won't be.
Real 4WD? What does that even mean? Seen the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300’s alternator? Very low down and good luck accessing it. The fuel filter hangs down exposed in front of the rear wheel. I recall old 4WD’s being gutless fuel guzzling uncomfortable death traps that needed constant work and a bucket load of spare parts for every trip. My current Ranger has been flogged in every environment, snow through hot desert and beaches towing trailers for half of it, in Australia for 200,000 klms. Regular maintenance and zero issues. Funny that. I’ll be sure to look out for a real 4WD next time though. 👍🏽
Well I think the old version was UA and UA Series 2 so it was just an update/refresh. Some changes for sure but most people cant tell a 2015 Everest from a 2020 Everest from just looking at it.
Seriously how backwards are Ford because my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a complete black interior with wood grain plus it has a 8 way lumbar support both driver and passenger and all the other features and more and air suspension but the biggest joke is my diesel engine is echo friendly it doesn't have this add blue crap so seriously Ford definitely have not gone forward and I was a Ford person and seriously wouldn't buy one of these Everest crap boxes.

5:09 don't forget you get the steel bash plate with the 18" wheels with the NCO off road package
Best presentation on RUclips
Thanks for your informative video. Could you please tell us if the 2024 platinum has a cam chain or wet rubber belt.
I want to get one. I’m just really worried about Ford support if something goes wrong.
So very well presented - I've watched many of these but this one was the best. Thank you for the presentation. BTW this will be my next ride.
I can't wait for this car to land in my garage ❤
Would love to see the interior ambient lighting 😀

No HUD which is unusual.
love it~you created useful -take care. FFord.)
Nice overview..
Are the third row seats in the platinum quilted like the others?
Also with the tow pack does it come with a twelve pin plug?
You stand to be corrected.....this is the 3rd generation Everest

I think its better if u wait for the 2nd iteration for this gen then.
For the dual zone AC which button controls the temperature at the back?

I’ve heard a few reviewers saying this is the second generation of Ford Everest, what about the first square shape which was on the MAZDA BT platform?
Does it have cooling seats?
Thank you for the clip. What's the difference between Platinum and Titanium Everest?
Do you mean Trend? Ambiente, Trend, Sport & Platinum is the models available.

Hello When cold started the Everest has weird squeaky sound coming from the turbo actuator , is it normal ?

@@clintabbott5327 says Ford 😉 Brochure will be updated soon. It's official. Rear axle rating is different to tow rating 👍
Do the seatbelts slide up and down on the pillars ?
Thanks for the tour, very helpful. What's the weight the recovery points are rated for?

Yes

They go "flattish" by the look of it. "Level" is another thing, however, I haven't seen one in the flesh.
Does anyone know if there's a GVM upgrade available for the Everest as yet, another 300 Kg would be nice.

This as big as the ford explorer interior ?

You will be surprised by just how capable Everest is off-road. Up there with the best, without mods. With some mods, it becomes a monster off-road.
3rd generation
1st gen 2012 2nd gen 2015 and the latest gen 2022
HUD ?
Head Up Display on windscreen 🙂🙂
Unfortunatly no to all model. I know but doesn't stop me for ordering my bronze platinum even everest is the only car have no HUD in my garage.

Far too small to be a true 7 seat suv
Not a good looking front and slow as
