I'm up all night to pet dogs
We're up all night to pet dogs
We're up all night to pet puppies
Requested by James Wilson or something I dunno, I'm just using that as an excuse to have made this cover.

I grew up on this and I'm still coming back. We need more albums like Random Access Memories going into the future.
The best part is the description ._.
Holy HELL. I thought programming standard MIDI was cool... I'm getting this program RIGHT EFFIN' NOW. My new Let's Play show could use a title theme... done. Awesome work sequencing this whole song (I know very well how rough MIDI is to sequence), and it sounds totally BAD-ASS in 8-bit. Bravo!
I would just like to say that you are probably one of the most talented music-makers I've ever seen on youtube. Your song just hits a special rythm that makes them completely addictive to listen to. You have a sense of knowing how to place the right tones at the right place to just make the music perfect. Thank you so much!
Nice man, you've done it as better as the official keep up with the good things!
Very fun to listen to, thanks for making it
Awesome emulation of the Nile Rodgers guitar! I used to not be a fan of this album compared to Daft Punk's works, but now I actually really like it.
Guys, the piano view is NSFPlay Synthesia. He just edited the two windows together; it's not a part of Famitracker.

You can get the download from this forum thread.
You're actually amazing! This is talent. I don't like the actual song but I love this version!
Dear Levi:
Please share the nsf of this top notch rendition of Get Lucky.
Signed: The world.
Alright if you say so, I'll add it to the description :>
Thank you!
Levi Davis How do you use NSF's?
HolyDemon017 They're basically the file format that songs in NES games used. If you write music in Famitracker, they're also used as project files if I'm correct. If you want to just play them like you would an mp3 file, I recommend this addon for Winamp that plays nsf files. www.chipamp.org/
HLRxxKarl NSF files aren't the project files for famitracker, those are FMT files.
WOH, good job!! Really detailed work
This is awesome!
You know, you're REALLY good at doing Daft Punk in VRC6. If you were ever taking suggestions, I would suggest "Face to Face" or "Give Life Back to Music". :D
Really nice!
I've been waiting for a great cover off of Random Access Memories and you did not disappoint. Nicely done.
Awesome songs btw glad to see someone has finally made an 8bit song that can rival da chip and still sound badass and close to the real song.
This is the best an NES/Famicom can play Daft Punk's Get Lucky.
Awesome. Love the lyrics. :D
I can't get bloody enough of this, it's awesome!
Nice job, nice description
Not so much request, more along the lines of suggestion that I take into account. If I like the idea of the song you mention I might find time to make it one day.
I'd LOVE to hear either Around The World or Short Circuit by Daft Punk like this! o:
...but do you also rub and scratch doggo and pupper bellies, though? The doggos and puppers really love when you do that from time to time.
How do you get it to show that piano thing?
I'm wondering the same thing.
It's two seperate programs.
I found the program. It's NSFPlay
YAY!
I just wanna know what program you're using for the piano roll visualization thing.

Sounds like it could be in the scott pilgrim game
How are you so amazing a person? Awesome!
i was up all night, i got lucky
I love Famitracker! but how did you get the piano at the bottom. I'm still a noob at FT. :P
Next DP song should be Digital Love, just sayin'.
This might be a stupid question, but....
How do you make these..? I mean besides with famitracker, I know that you use that, but how do you use it? Im just a bit confused on how it works...
esto es puro arte
When I first heard it on the radio, I was hearing "She's up for Mexican Soul / We're up for Mexican Soul."
Epic~
Do you have the famitracker sources for this?
I've been chiptuning for a little while now, and have been making a lot of chiptunes lately, and I keep getting better at it. My friends say I should publish on RUclips, but I'd really, *really* love to be able to do a FamiTracker + nsfplay Synthesia video effect like this. I already have those two programs, but I don't really have the expertise for video capture or video editing. I already know *what* you did (putting the FamiTracker pattern editor video in part of the nsfplay Synthesia window), but I still don't know how to do that myself, I still can't so much as figure out how to video capture a thing without either low frame rate or tons of video compression artifacts.
Could you tell exactly what tools and techniques you used? There ought to be a lot more of these kinds of visualized chiptune videos. :D Synthesia is pretty, but the FamiTracker pattern editor visualization pleases the inner geek.
+Dermot Mac Flannchaidh
I record using atube, and video edit using sony vegas. I use the crop function.
+Levi Davis Thank you for the information. I'll look into those programs. :D
Could you put the .ftm file for download in the description? I like to use famitracker to mess with instruments, and stuff.
replace the liriks wiv
She's all night to get dawgs
Im up all night to get dawgs
Were up all night to get dawgs
Were up all night to get *PUPPIES*
- Do you like Daft Punk?
- Yes.
-A me tooooooooo
everything has everything to do with my tuba.
How do you get the piano roll? Is that a newer feature? I haven't used Famitracker in years...
It's not a new feature, it's an NSF player programme that has a piano roll visualizer.
Levi Davis And what program would that be? :D
Levi Davis what is the name of the program?
Sebastian Alejandro Rios Echavarria That would be NSFplay. It's a separate program from Famitracker.
What player do you use?
Is that wild game grumps reference here
This is great! I am trying my hand at using famitracker to make some music also. Has anyone have experience using GXSCC? I hear people either hate or like it.
johnny v People dislike it because it's not really 8-bit. Most of the time people just put MIDIs into it that other people made, upload it to youtube and call it their own. It's basically both lazy and fake, which is why people don't like it.
Levi Davis Thanks for clearing that up : ) I will avoid investing time into it.
Levi Davies says it all. you just drag a Midi into it, and it does it all for you!
staaahp
We're up all night to pet puppies ^^
Also, since when did FamiTracker get that awesome "Synthesia" type part?
3:35 (solo)
goto bed
Fucking finally levus !!!!!!!
Mycaruba?
Is it possible for you to release the FTM file? Thank You!
I like when can see the music
,but think this is more 32 bit :D
This would run on a Nintendo Famicom (japanese NES) The term 8-bit is depending on the chipset used by the device, not actually the sound chip. The Famicom had some expansion chips that added more channels. This song uses the Konami VRC6 chip, which was also used in games like Castlevania III to create a better soundtrack (that soundtrack was sadly only available in the japanese version)
The VRC6 chip adds two Pulse waves and a Sawtooth wave to the NES's five channel setup (2 Square, 1 Triangle, 1 Noise, 1 DPCM)
TheFerdi265 oh u are pro in that thx for info :)

step up the tempo a bit and then it becomes a great keygen tune!
There's no need to fuck your life just yet. I'll be 19 for a good half of a year.
I don't date teens!!!
No mp3? :c
hey NO! don't do that! it's bad for your ears, and the NES file is the only one that sounds as it's meant to sound =D and you can carry billions of them in your cellphone now n_n !! just google how to make the computers play them =)
You can make your own MP3. A lot of NSF players can export the NSF file as an MP3.
modo for android works well
yeah im using modo its pretty awesome ! free ofc
ftm plz
no :(
I like the remix, I hate the original song. It sounds good if there is _NO_ lyrics.
Then that's your opinion against the entire world, even though I respect all opinions
gusguspop1
Sure, not the entire world though. Most people I know thinks the song sucks.
Well, at least is good to see someone that acts calmly and doesn't starts ranting all about one comment, but yeah, everybody I know likes the lyrics... Ah well, can't win 'em all
gusguspop1
It's more popular in other places. Like Canada was not as excited about the Nintendo 64.
(Most people here thought it sucked, qraphics have to look good here for some reason). Not saying Daft Punk is bad, I'm saying this song was a bust here.
Kinda figured as much... Yeah, different places, different tastes
