Anyway, I made this in late November 2013, and it got a pretty good reception in the old FamiTracker forums. Thanks everyone who commented in there!
I've been intending to redo this cover from scratch, probably using another expansion chip because it sounds a bit rough in a few places. Still, I'm pretty happy with the results, and I hope you enjoy this! Also behold my not so good triangle DPCM!

lol I know that feel, GXSCC was the first thing I ever found for "8-bit" music, but I don't recall if I didn't like it, or if I didn't really find out how to use it, so I looked for better stuff after that.

I just realize how hard I've fallen off from doing famitracker covers. I miss it.
I sort of feel responsible for the uprising of proper 8 bit covers with my relentless "GXSCC=/=8 BIT NERDS"
I can't be sure, but I guess spreading the truth about it could help people understand better what actual chiptunes are lol.
I've been slow at covering too, hopefully I'll make something soon. It's becoming a bit frustrating though since at times I can't get the sound I'm going for.
