  • It may come as a surprise to some, but Nairobi is known as the London of Africa. And it's not unusual to see Europeans flocking its streets. More recently, though, more and more Africans have also been making Nairobi their home. CCTV's Maria Galang follows one South African living in the Kenyan capital

    I'm Kenyan, its a beautiful country with a lot to explore. The only problem with Nairobi is poor drainage system, hectic traffic, wrecked roads, name it. I hope all these will soon be solved. Otherwise it's an amazing city.

    What a great host Theo is! So, compared to a city of Seattle's population of 2 million, how big is Nairobi? Yes I'm sure it would have some difficulties, but travel is so expanding to a person's attitude. It would be cool to go.

      Boaz Nyakachunga I am thinking of traveling to Nairobi in a couple of months. Is it safe. I see that in April they had the college shooting. I also see the US has a travel warning.

    • @victornyakachunga7168
      @victornyakachunga7168 9 лет назад +3

      Nairobi is very safe as far as security is concerned. Shooting happened in Northern Kenya that is largely Islamic but security has been beefed up since then. We understand the western media have a tendency to exaggerate the negative happenings in Africa but for me I feel very safe here. I'd recommend for anyone to visit Nairobi or Kenya in general.
