I'm a Holy Grail fan and Eli has always been one of my favorite guitarists and to see him step up on the mic and conquer it. Just makes him more of an inspiration to his fans! Thanks Eli and Ignite! you guys sound amazing!

It’s only one new song. The other one is Turn from the 1994 EP. He sings them both insane. I think they threw Turn in there to show old heads he can sing the old songs well.

It's incredibly rare for a singer to get replaced and see so many positive comments about the switch. Says alot about both guys.
This brings it so god damn hard. I was huge into the So-Cal punk scene growing up, but admittedly, fell out as I grew older. This sound brings me straight back to my younger years and has me so fired up to hear more with Eli in the band. 🤘

Eli Santana is a great heavy metal guitarist, I am a big fan of Holy Grail and in his facet as singer of Ignite he is totally amazing.

Holy shit I toured with ignite in 2000 never knew zoli quit , couldn't imagine ignite without him to be honest. But this is really good . Hey Brett, Kevin and Craig if you read this I still have the jacket you guys gave me at the end of the tour. Alex stampin ground .

My opinion is, that Ignite better had dissolved. Eli can sing the songs and this song is cool, but he can not replace Zoli as person and the real cult of Ignite.

I saw they were added to Punk in the Park this Sunday in the OC. I remembered Zoli was out and started googling, they got Eli from Holy Grail, which is a legit band I've seen them live, but he played guitar in that band. And I guess he has an IMDB???
Anyways, his vocal range sounds like he can do the older stuff and the couple new tracks I am not hating. So I'm optimistic. Though it is painful whenever there's a lineup change like that (found out Jordan Burns was no longer in Strung Out by seeing them at Musink idk, a few years ago, and googled mid set to confirm he left, they didn't sound as good with the new guy).
Ignite I've always liked but idk, seemed like they weren't a "full time" band with huge breaks and what not. I'm sure Zoli doing the Pennywise stint didn't help with that.
I always thought that was a band that should have been headlining festivals and not opening or side stage, but there was always long stretches of inactivity which doesn't help most bands. Not everyone is the Refused.
@@slashismyhommie8182 men, nailed it. I heard an interview with Zoli past week. The one he did with Hoya from Madball for his podcast. He had had one foot out of the band a lot of times and they broke up a couple of times even though they never publicly announced it. I guess that's why their main guitar players (Nik, Kevin, Brian) have come and gone several times. I always thought and strongly believe that they could be bigger than other names like Rise Against if they had put out more records in the '00 and Zoli hadn't been doing thousand of things at a time.

His name is Eli Santana he use to play for Huntress, Monte Pittman, and Holy Grail. He played parts in Lady Gaga videos and in Westworld.

I like Ignite's change. They feel much rawer, more powerful and punky in the two songs (especially turn XXI). Great stuff, welcome back!

Zoli was the voice of IGNITE for me. I can't tell you how disappointed I was when he quit the band. Honestly I thought you guys won't find another great singer, it's impossible. I was wrong. Obviously Eli isn't Zoli but man, he can sing! Great song and the band still sounds awesome!

When a band changes its historical singer, I usually have a hard time accepting the replacement, but Ignite is great, Eli is as good a singer as Zoli, I even dare to say that he has more energy at shows!

a mixture of classic ignite and new pop-punk... not sure if I really not, but listenable for sure. I miss the old, but still feeling the new.
Check out the other new song "Turn XXI". For me this is one of the best Ignite songs ever. Very raw, powerful and punky.

As a long time fan of Ignite. I miss Z's voice on there sound because his voice was very clean, yet pure for the music but this guy's voice is a good combo. Reminds me of "At the drive in". Best of luck IGNITE.........live you guys always were unstoppable and looking forward to see what the new frontman does to be individually
