This was a special track I put together fairly quickly for Ponies at Dawn: Echoes, and I thought it would be nice to spend a little more time on a unique version to put here. Whether you prefer the more spontaneous feel of the original or this slightly more intricate version is up to you :)

The Replacer curse.
Whenever I randomly go onto a replacer video for no reason, I suddenly find or see a video relating to the video I looked at.
First it was seeing SGaP mentioned in the comments right before learning of a documentary about him.
This time, a Passing By VIP is released less then an hour after I look at Days of Silence again.
The unbreaking curse of the coincidence.

Beautiful atmospheric piece. It tells a nuanced story. Someone already said below that this would be great music to listen to while creating art, yourself, and I agree. The mixing of piano and synth gives a Minecraft-esque tone. The percussion (along with the pacing) are more akin to Terraria, though. I suppose the true beauty of the song is that it isn’t fully either; it’s a unique piece with its own feel.

The way this piece tonally weaves, I adore its unpredictability. Defo gonna learn this one on the piano. Question, was it all recorded in a take, or are there several layers of piano playing at once? I was improvising over it earlier, and was having a hard time figuring out what was being played by the right and left hands around 1:20.
Either way, love your stuff, always look forward to hearing your songs whenever you put them out 😊👍👍

haha, this is definitely not for two hands - the original had two pianos and I added two more in this version, although I don't think more than 3 pianos are playing at any one time
you might be able to distill a duet or something out of it though.

i knew there was another replacer song but i didnt remember where it was since the original is not here, and those extract beats do add up and i love both versions but i will admit this one is a bit more detailed

The beginning sounds so much like a mixture of stairway to heaven + mad world, a little bit later reminds me of makkon (also i can hear some sims) and everything alltogether sounds like your music. I haven't heard the original version, but this one will have a spot in my favourite music playlist.
