Nice methodology, thanks. A couple of tips for folks doing this effect... 1. USE A SHORT PENCIL (for your participant to write with) no more than 3 inches long, this makes people press harder. 2. DO NOT use a pencil that is too soft (for your participant to write with), using a slightly harder "lead" also means they will press harder. 3. round off the pencil tip so it is not too pointed, this gives you a clearer image on the impression card.

@@CavanBooth1 bro I did try these steps But this trick does not work on business cards which are 300 GSM So I have to check with cards that are below 250 GSM only
Could try this on a sticky pad so it’s more natural for them to write on top. Then maybe do a drawing duplication on third using the second as natural cover while you do the duplication. It will be hard for them to connect it since they can see the topside of the second and the original is in their hand. You could also use carbon paper. Alternatively you can tear the second off and do the duplication on there but that leaves you dirty.
You could ise this to preshow. If you are doing a streeet show you can use one of the first persons that gather have them write something down like their first crush ore something like this and have them put it away. As more pepole approche you can then read this persons mind and don't even mention the piece of card witch the spectator put away.
They can hold it if they want. The more you act like the cards are all normal (handing them out, etc.) then the less likely they will think there's something wrong with them

The impression only comes when I write directly on the back of the Gimmicked Card itself... Did you also encounter problems like these & what is your solution for this??

You could have the stack of cards prepared so both sides are ready. This way you don't have to force one side to the audience. Either side will do.

Another way of preventing the spectator from writing on the wrong side is just doing the setup on both sides. Just a little idea I wanted to share.
