Thank you for giving more visibility to this issue. A lot of women don't talk about this because it causes a lot of shame and insecurity. But I suspect that there are a lot more of us struggling with this than we know. But just- everyone PLEASE make sure you're seeing a doctor about it, because it may be a symptom of a larger issue. Take care of yourselves ❤💕

Drs. don't have the solution either. This is happening to so many women because everything arround us is toxic, including food.
Drs will prescribe things like minoxidil, which they don't even know how it works and causes heart issues.
I have been to many Drs.. they don't know, don't care and just want the money.
I am trying natural treatments, detoxing and getting rid of inflammation from the body. Hope it works.

Izzy, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I used to have thick luscious hair in locks, but since diagnosed with Lyme disease (one of the ugly symptoms of Lyme) I lost half of my hair volume 😔
This video is great because even though the pigments are temporary, it still gives a few days fix which can do amazing things to our selfesteeme. Thank you Zoe 💖

None of these spray option came in shades for ginger hair, except for the toppik! Which I agree is not “great” but it’s all there is so... I use it!!! Us gingers have hair issues too SADLY!!!! 🤔🙄😤

Try to detox the body and get rid of inflammation. I have been suffering with this for too long and see lots of women arround me with the same issue.
It was not like this in the past. All we have to do is look at picks from the 60s or 70s. The cause has to be what we eat today. It's not genetics, it's not stress. It's infammation due to toxicity. It's lack of gut bacteria in the gut. We need to go back to eating fermented food.
It's a battle. Stay strong and God bless.

Zoe Cavey I don’t think Keranique is too expensive, especially if you buy the trial size kit which is how I started. It’s available at Sephora and Ulta so you can always return if it doesn’t work for you. ( I didn’t use thickening mousse or spray, not my thing). but you are right i was happy to see results but doing something forever to keep your hair growth was a bit frustrating, but honestly it is easy. I think bc my hair is curly, I have to constantly change up my routine/products to keep my curls looking healthy/plump.

To keep from getting the sprays or talc's from getting in the middle of part, use an index card or some kind of card and place it over the part (white part) and then spray or talc. Then switch the card to the other side, and spray or talc that side. Works great and keeps your part white...

I had the same problem! It was so sad and currently growing back and looking normal! What i do that has helped is
1.massage my scalp before washing my hair,
2.I have a scalp massager that I also use in the shower, helps to distribute shampoo
    3.I take vitamins & biotin,
4.rice water mask, (organic & massage on scalp)
    5. wash my hair less
    6. No super tight buns
7.Good Shampoo, Cre-C max shampoo. Now I don’t forsure if the shampoo has helped my hair regrow or less stressing has but that is the one I’ve been using. It’s from Mexico but can buy on amazon I also used Big healthy hair shampoo and it has good ingredients.
    8. Can’t be lazy and have to be consistent

Prenatal vitamins are amazing for hair loss. I had very bad hair loss after my second child I had very visible bold spots. I managed to get in under control after a nurse told me to continue on my prenatal vitamins. I had 3 more kids after that and never experienced that type of hair loss because I regularly take them now. Vitamin d deficiency causes havoc on the body. Just please make sure you are seeing a doctor to keep everything under check. You are a very beautiful girl and you have a super sweet personality . I pray that you get some answers😊

A tip if you want to spray your parting without it looking completely masked over and fake is to put a piece of string along where your hair would naturally part, and then spray the coverup spray. Remove the string and then blend along the parting line with a small makeup brush so the white part line isn't as harsh.

    • @ZoeCavey
      @ZoeCavey  5 лет назад

I just feel like trying to hold a string and spray at the same time is going to be like near impossible (especially for me haha) so I don't mind if it seeps onto my part a little..honestly most of the time it doesn't but because I was doing it in my living room in front of a small mirror it wasn't the cleanest application but I'd still go out like this I'm not too fussed haha thanks for the tip though!❤️

How did no one recommend Caboki?! Way superior to Toppik imo. I put it on and sleep with it (no, I don't lose anymore hair from doing so.) Paired with their brand spray too. It does get all over my pillow but when I whack my head against something it doesn't rub off.
I've seen a gyno for this reason as well. In the past I was told I had too much androgens in my system. She's put me on Spironolactone to help and almost 6 months in I'm seeing slow baby hair growth!
You have no idea how it feels to see someone young with almost the EXACT same pattern of hair loss as me! I'm 29 now and noticed my hair loss reach its peak when I was 15. Would love to connect more about this!

honey you are gorgeous !! Please try some Indian natural herbal methods for hair growth:
    1. Hibiscus + Mustard oil
cut 2 hibiscus flowers into small pieces, mix it with 1 cup of mustard oil and heat it for 15 min and rest it for 24 hours and apply to scalp, leave it
overnight and wash it with mild shampoo in the morning
    2. Castor oil + Honey + Soyamilk
1 cup soya milk, 1tsp honey, 2tbsp castor oil, mix all these and massage it well on to scalp and leave it overnight and wash it in the morning
    3. Banana+ Natural Yogurt
1 banana and 1/2 cup natural yogurt, mix both to soft consistency and apply on scalp and wash it after one hour
    4. coconut oil + Natural yogurt
2tbsp coconut oil and 2tbsp beaten yogurt mix it will and apply to scalp and wash it after one hour
Use all or any of the above methods once or twice a week.
These sprays may be good instantly but their chemicals block hair regrowth. Love you honey … Take care

I use a combination of the purple plum NOT YOUR MOTHER dry shampoo which gives me tons I swear tons of volume, and the make me dark Batiste dry shampoo on my scalp! What works the best for me is to apply the NOT YOUR MOTHER shampoo at night right after I took a shower and my hair is dry, this avoids any oil from forming in my hair, and it does leave a white residue but in the morning when you wake up, the white residue is gone! Then in the morning I apply the Make me dark dry shampoo in my part and some other places when I part my hair during the day! After I apply it I tap my hair with a dark towel to remove the excess and make it look more natural! I also have to use always dark nail polish because I get dark residue under my nails every time I touch my hair. This is my routine, I wash my hair two or 3 times a week! 😘

  • @robfrancis2195
    @robfrancis2195 Год назад +1

I've used tinted Batiste for a long time now with very minimal results as a guy. I only use it because my hair is naturally oily and it makes my hair look a tiny bit less thin, but it's also drying and not in a good way. I haven't used the other two sprays but I can say that you probably don't want to spray chemicals directly onto your scalp like that (Especially if you dermaroll or microneedle, which you should look into), which is the only way to get coverage with these types of products. You don't know if they could make your problems worse in the future, creating a vicious cycle. Hair fibers at least stick more to your actual hair and not your scalp, making it safer. Plus the ingredients are more natural.
I would give the hair fibers another shot with a different technique. Respectfully, it requires a bit more finesse. Style your hair with whatever product you use first, such as mousse or a styling cream. Once your hair is mostly styled, you can add the fibers. Don't hold the shaker directly upside down in the same way that you wouldn't hold a salt or pepper shaker directly upside down. Hold it sideways and tap it with your finger to come out. As the amount of product inside reduces over the weeks, of course you'll have to hold the shaker closer and closer to being vertical/upside down, but by that point you'll understand how the product should be applied. It should come out like a gentle snowfall. Imagine that you're adding a bit of powdered sugar to pastries or something. Use a wide-tooth comb to brush the product through or make any adjustments to your hair. You can then "set" the fibers by adding a small amount of the hairspray of your choice. If you use a hairspray with a flexible hold, the product definitely lasts into the next day and you can use a wide-tooth comb again to style your hair without having to apply more product. I also found that the product wasn't staining my very light grey (Almost white) pillows. Also, this past week was the first time I went out in the rain, and there were multiple times where I didn't use my umbrella for 5-10 seconds several times throughout the night. The fibers didn't move or change, which surprised me, as my hair was directly exposed to a medium-light rain for a total of 60-90 seconds.
I literally just started using Boldify and I'm very happy with the results, but I'm gonna try Toppik next because the fibers are made of keratin protein from a wool source, whereas the former are made from cotton. Toppik also makes an applicator pump that you attach to the top of the shaker to make it easier to apply. Since you mainly cover your part down the middle, this would likely be a great option for you. Anyway, good luck! What you're doing obviously works very well, but I think that fibers would be a safer option and would give you better results.
Edit: Sorry for all the edits. I was just doing some research and Boldify seems to have more natural ingredients than Toppik, which uses a preservative that's a bit controversial. I might stick with what I'm already using.

I hate the fibers I strictly use powders and I love them. Back when my hair loss was like your I used Joan Rivers ‘great hair day’ and it was amazing. Since my hair loss has gotten worse I switched to DermMatch, it’s a little pricey but lasts forever. If you try it the DermMatch, I usually use it wet and with a brush instead of the sponges it comes with. I use the brush that comes with the Joan Rivers actually. It looks weird wet while you do it but it goes pretty fast and once you hit it with a blow dryer after you apply it, it’s great. I’ve never found transfer with either product over the years and they are both waterproof. I’m going to buy one of these sprays tonight to try when a rush but it won’t be a daily thing since I checked the ingredients and they aren’t great for hair or the scalp and I can’t afford to lose more than I do on a daily basis. I love that you’re making these videos, you’re awesome. I was much older than you before I could be so open and honest about my hair loss, it’s quite hard for me to read some of these comments though. There’s a lot of sexism in the hair loss community and in our society that never gets addressed and I see much of it with these comments (and comments I receive in real life). 😔
Lots of love to you ❤️

I just came across your channel and I’ve struggled with hair loss for years. I’m a Toppik user and I had the same problem when I first used it back in 2007 so I stopped and threw the product away. It was recommended to me again in 2015 and I’ve used it ever since, the difference this time was the applicator that came with it this time. It’s like an air pump and nozzle so the powder doesn’t come out too heavy. I’ve used it now for 5 years and it’s a lifesaver for me. It also takes 30 seconds or less to apply which I like. I also HIGHLY recommend Viviscal Professional vitamins to slow down/stop the shedding! Thank you so much for doing these videos!

It is best to go to a specialist to see if it’s a hormonal problem or just stress. Also, it is better to use shampoo and conditioners that are free of sulfate. Thanks for this honest review! I also tried topix and same thing happened to me!! The loreal is very expensive to be used on a daily i have yet to try the BB! Also, where are your lashes from? So pretty!

Thanks for watching!! I don’t think you’d have to use the L’Oreal everyday as it holds up awesome overnight but I do still think it would run out a lot quicker then the BB one does🧐 my lashes are the Silk Luxe lashes from Eylure in the style “Ascher” I get them at target✨there’s a pic of the box on my instagram if you’re interested!♥️

Thank you for making this video. I have been using the L’Oréal one for about a month and I experience the same transfer issue. I’m going to try the bumble & bumble one next. 👍🏽

Thank you so much for this test. I recently had some hair thinning and the Bumble & Bumble did the trick. I would never have known about it if I didn't see this video. Thank you for sharing.

Something I ALWAYS use to cover up is the topik hair fibre powder, it’s the best but quite pricey

Every time you buy a product you have to read the instructions, how to use it and what is for?
The dry shampoo ( Bumble Bumble and the Batiste) is made by talk powder and is usually used to absorb the oil from the hair and to raise the root, while the Loreal hair concealer and the Topik fiber is a temporary hair colour and is used just to cover the grey hair.

Thank you so luck for making this video! Have you tried parting your hair with a comb after you spray your scalp instead of spraying the sides? The comb works well for me!

You can use your makeup palettes, Pick the color match with your hair, then use the brush and Just brush it on the spot you need to cover.

I used to do that when I was younger but I found that the eyeshadow had a different time applying onto my scalp, and it was much more time consuming. Thank you for the suggestion though!♥️

I have hypothyroidism. I’ve lost a lot of hair but I’ve figured out a few styles that work for me I use the brown batiste and toppik powder. I appreciate you for posting this and I’m subscribing

Zoe Cavey I don’t put it on my part. Just around the part and kind of brush it out

Love, love, love Batiste. It’s the best (and only) dry shampoo I’ll use. I’ve tried others, and never have luck with them. Always go back to my Batiste.
You just need to massage it through better to get the white tinge out.
