I really hope everyone notices that these dysons are not the legitimate USA version. Because if they make the mistake of thinking they are.... they are going to get scammed out of ALOT of money. Any dyson supersonic or airwrap, from the first version to the latest, if it was made to be used in the USA it does NOT have a straight plug like you see on this video when the hair dryer is being unboxed. Watch a few video on the differences between fakes and the real deal. The real deal ALWAYS has a plug on the back of a box that says dyson with a red reset and a yellow test button on the front. (And there is also always a surge protection box part way along the cord.) And if right now your thi king , "mine has a straight plug but it's real, I registered the serial number with dyson. It was the same number on the box and the cord tag and it was a real number", unfortunately the only real thing you got was the number. Can you believe these scammers have gotten to the point of copying serial numbers from the real machines, even making sure its the same colors, and copying the number onto their counterfeits!? Why? So that you never realize you have a fake! So they are long gone by the time you do realize, if you ever do! You don't complain, no third party (ebay, poshmark, mercari) revokes the sale causing them to lose your money. They go right on selling. Who would have thought hair stylers would have become one of the most counterfeited items in the world?! But these fake dysons are everywhere! I've even come across some people who are selling their "dysons" on eBay because they want to recoup some money because while the machine was fine, it just wasn't as great as they expected. And they have no idea they are selling a fake! They've been shocked, sometimes clinging to the hope of the serial number to save them, but eventually it hits: the reason it was just OK, the reason it broke down so soon, it wasn't the real dyson to begin with. Please! Watch the videos of people who did realize they bought fakes, realize the scammers have gotten even better since then, matching the exact box wording and don't let yourself get caught up in the "I'm going to lose the one I want" mentality. Don't ignore the red flags because you want it to be real. Insist on enough pics to be sure and be prepared to check out the item with a fine tooth comb when you get it, comparing it to those videos and articles so you'll be in time to stop the payment and get a refund. Unfortunately, if your not buying direct from dyson or one of their licensed retailers (Sephora, Ulta, QVC, Best Buy, or Bed Bath and Beyond) and only those (yes, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, and Target are licensed by dyson too but I've only ever seen them selling dyson vacuums) then you have to approach a sale anywhere else like it's a fake until proven otherwise. And it won't take you long to realize how bad the problem is based on hiw many fakes you cone across. And if you're tempted to risk it when red flags are flying remember it's better to pay the full $429 to buy direct (new, warranted, and certain) than to literally flush $300 away on a fake that's worth nothing!

Hi, I live in Korea and I purchased them directly on Dyson Korea web site. I mentioned it on the video as well. Even in Korea, where I live, people only reccomand buy them through the official Dyson Korea. If you buy it from the official web site, you'll never be ripped off for the lousy fake one, wherever you live.
