Saw Bruce and the E STREET band in concert at Slane castle Ireland June 1985. Beautiful hot summers day.Played for almost 4 hours in front of 100,000 people. Absolute best concert I was ever at.The place just rocked.Never to be forgotten. The big man Clarence was in his prime.
God ... I LOVE this man, loved him then, loved him in 1975, love him now ... love his continuity, but why do I love him best in a sweaty vest? cos he's authentic, and laughs at himself... hope I continue to be able to do the same
This is the best version of this song I've ever seen and probably the best vibe from the entire band. Specifically like revival from 4:20 and onwards. Brilliant performance!!!
This version is wonderful. But I could hear this song on a scratchy distant AM radio station and still love every minute of it. Now I know how all the members of the E street band stayed in shape. They performed this song. I burn enough calories just listening to it!!
Still does! I heard him say once that he is ONE, the audience is ONE and if the show equal TWO, he isn't doing his job as a performer...it needs to add up to THREE at least...a nuclear explosion of sorts. Saw him at 63 years old this time last year...3.5 hours, 30 songs, crowd surfing, jumping on the piano. More energy than some half his age.
During that tour, he was all over the place, participated in the "hijinks" and such. I have noticed on the tour that just ended, he has been quite alive, singing at his own mic on occasion and even joining Bruce on occasion. He is also wearing Ray Bans throughout the concerts, inside and outside. I always think that if he looks like he's having a good time, things are going VERY well! He seems to get into the rare stuff like "Thunder Crack" and really enjoys "Stump the Band" cover requests Bruce takes from the audience.
fiery moon I saw bruce at the palace of auburn hills 2 years ago and Gary, and if I recall correctly, was rockin’ right next to Bob Seger when he joined the stage for Tenth Avenue and Shout. The entire band was killing it.
I love watching Garry Talent in these old videos. It's so against his basic human nature to do all those dance moves, yet he sucks it up like a trooper. Shout out to the least-ever discussed member of the EStreet Band!
They did it just about 100 times better in 1988. Those awful drums from Max Seinberg 1985 ( They put something on his drums that made them sound awful. Max is a great drummer but this sounds awful. Bruce seems he does not know What to do. The stopping of the song is gone. Quite simply the versions from 1985 are the worst I have ever heard with Bruce compare to 1988 below
This one is about 100 times better. Cadillac Ranch 1988 were a lot lot better than in 1985 m.ruclips.net/video/JTN7RJmEyX4/видео.html&pp=ygUTQ2FmaWxsYWMgUmFuY2ggMTk4OA%3D%3D
there is a mention of burt reynolds in this song and on celebrity jeopardy norm macdonald, playing burt reynolds, wore a hat like nils'. Sorry if someone already answered.
my only bitch is he substituted "riding along in the prairie night" for Wisconsin night. I'm from Wisconsin and although i love this song, i loved it more for the reference to my home....
I was there, the best concert I have seen in now almost 50 years. Over 4 hours of pure pleasure
Still fabulous after all these years!!!!!🫶🫶🫶🫶👍👍👍👍👍🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had a heart attack 11 yrs ago""god Bruce is enough to bring on another one""he's fandabedozzy..♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The Boss sure could put one a show. He gave the fans their money's worth with this one.
I can't think of a performer who gives more than the Boss.
I just have to say who in the world would dislike this? jeeze this is frikkin AWEsome!

Saw him in London last week at age 73...the guy still puts on a brilliant show! If I could move half as good as him at his age, I'd be happy!
Fun fun fun.. I agree-this never gets old.
You just gotta love watching them horsing around on stage!!
listened for ever at my home bar in the 80s

Synchronised, love it.
I agree and I'm going to see the Boss on his forthcoming tour too.
That's the most animated Ive seen Gary Tallent, ever.

CHE FIGO!
really excited cause im performing this at my high school's talent show
fantastic
Bruce and the E Street Band never played this song better than how they played it the concerts of 1985.
I saw them in Syracuse 1985, I agree!
Saw them at RFK Stadium in &5. They absolutely destroyed the place. Wasn’t a bad song in the setlist.
They did it just about 100 times better in 1988. Those awful drums from Max Seinberg 1985 ( They put something on his drums that made them sound awful. Max is a great drummer but this sounds awful. ESTE CARA E UMA FERA BRUCE
Love this DVD. It's the point where they go from being the biggest cult band in the world to the biggest band in the world.
They were huge prior to 1985.
