Hoosier fans are the best bball fans in the country and its almost not close, we live for Hoosier basketball. James Naismith said "basketball was born in Kansas, but it grew up in Indiana."

I once heard a coach say, "You have to take winning like a champion and losing like a man." I really like the compliments from fans of other teams (especially the one from the UK fan. He is being a good sport and a man about the situation). I hope that I would compose myself the same way if we had lost this game. Having said all that, I must also say that I will thoroughly enjoy watching this video for the rest of my life. It makes me SO happy!!!
As a kentucky fan I can sincerely say I miss playing Indiana so much. It was such a historic rivalry in college basketball. Maybe when we get rid of calipari we can ignite it again. Which hopefully is sooner rather then later. Go big blue!!
Should have video taped my reaction too - All I remember is jumping up and down screaming "He made it!" over & over again. Doing my best job not to knock over the Xmas tree - then my wife comes running downstairs screaming (she couldn't watch the final play). Before I knew it, my Springer Spaniel was humping my leg in joy, my Irish Setter named Kirkwood started barking (pretty sure he was saying "Suck it Kentucky") & my 1 1/2 year old son was scared that daddy lost his mind. Best. Day. Ever.
I wasn't at Nick's that night. I was in my dorm room, finishing up some last minute final essays. It was warm in my room, so I had the window open. And at this exact moment, I heard the most unearthly howl spread all over campus. Seriously, I walked to my window, and it seemed like the whole town was howling. I'll never forget that.
@@jsredrose No kidding? I was in Smith my first year and Cravens the next two. I was in Ed briefly too. Total accident I ended up at Collins, but was so happy I did. Best dorm on campus. Can't imagine what it would have been like living anywhere else.
absolutely awesome. As a lifelong IU fan (grew up in Muncie), I can't tell you the chills I get watching this. It's great to see Hoosier Hysteria getting back to the likes of the glory days. Kudos to Tom Crean for cleaning up the absolute disaster left by Kelvin Sampson (ugh.. almost vomited) and doing so in a manner to make us all proud. I wish I could have been at Assembly Hall for this one...
That's pretty much what my living room was like too, except with about n-1 fewer people, where n is the number of people in the bar (my wife, a Purdue fan, was strangely quiet). I was on the phone with my dad, who was driving home from Florida at the time and couldn't get the game on radio and he patiently waited a good couple of minutes for me to calm down and pick the phone back up, when he calmly replied, "I guess that means we won." 3 weeks later and I still watch videos of the shot daily.
my roommate freshman year is a huge Indiana fan and was just insane throughout the game and I remember saying "geez I'm gonna need a video camera just in case there's a buzzer beater". Sadly, no camera.
