Only difference, i started last week using UED for the first time, and i actually have no utter idear what i'm doing, and figuring things out takes hours if not days, and glad i just saw how to make speedy roads and a pivoting door, THNX for the tutorial, saves alot of time actually searching for such tutorials.

I don't think updating Dreamworld is going to improve much. So the fixes only take someone who knows what they are doing just a couple of minutes to implement.
How can it take hundreds of hours of time between 4 people just to do these quick 2 minute updates?.
Reminds me of what I put in my own dialog in my own project:.
"Skynar: Well speaking of uniform, I'm hoping the glow of my uniform will scare off the enemy so I won't be attacked. They will know I'm a no attack zone.
Storm: Huh? That doesn't make any sense to me Skynar, You're all lit up like the Telorian Globas Worms. They can see you a mile away with bad flickering. If the fans start going full blast, you know Skynar is coming."
Rex: Let me know when you get the blue screen. I like to be informed.
I did put that into the dialog of my game.

9:00 I understand this is a speed run so only posting this for programmers below. DO NOT CAST ON TICK OR OVERLAP! if you need a reference to anything. make it happen on begin play or a function that is called elsewhere. store the reference of the item in a variable and call that for all your checks. For this, I would create a BPFL (Blueprint Function Library) which would have a function to get the player pawn, and send down its reference which would then be stored locally. this would allow multiple game objects to use this code without the need to rewrite it every time.
    Casting can be expensive!

On one hand I understand that a week's progress can sometimes (or even often) not amount to not a lot to show, like I don't think anybody would be hyped up hearing "oh yeah guys, we just refactored our audio library integration". But that's the kinda stuff you really ought to know after _all those years of experience as a programmer_ so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Like, I remember Notch doing his "seecret friday updates", but I still think that's far from what you should realistically aiming for; after all, even those faded out once the feature list got too complex. If this was a genuine project (and that's a big fucking "if") I'd be happier with monthly updates and knowing that in the mean time they get shit done.
