Greg is dead on: Fallon is far too easily cowed, because he wants everyone to like him and even be best friends. He's too easy a target for these kinds of things, because he will apologize when he shouldn't; the fallout from his Trump interview during the campaign is exhibit A.

Exactly right. However, Jimmy Fallon still has BY FAR the most annoying fake laugh of any late nigh talk show host. So annoying that it is almost cringeworthy. The only way I would watch Jimmy Fallon for an hour is if someone has a gun to my head, so I am ok with him getting canned, because he simply sucks.
But, I do agree that Fallon is soooooo consumed by wanting everyone to like him that it even alienates is cupcake staffers.
You know, a while ago I thought Fallon was the crappiest talk show host ever! But then Colbert and Kimmel said "Hold my beer!".

Why isn't this channel showing the whole segments anymore? You cut it off right in the middle of the monologue, we didn't get to hear from any of the panel. And this isn't the first video, either, there was another one a few days ago, the opening segment was 8 minutes long. No Leftovers to fill time, hell we didn't even get "Let's welcome tonight's guests". Post the whole thing!
