  • Legendary frontman and guitarist Mark Farner led Grand Funk Railroad to the top of the charts in the 1970s. In August 1989, Mark participated in the 20th anniversary of the Woodstock festival at Cal State Dominguez Hills. The entire concert performance is available on CD and DVD. Also available on vinyl featuring nine Grand Funk classics. Including “Some Kind of Wonderful”, “Bad Time”, “Closer To Home”, “Loco-Motion” and “Rock N Roll Soul”

    During the 1970's GFR sold more record albums than any other group during that decade, and I believe stats are they sold more records than all other bands combined that decade too... ! Great American Band.

      Unbelievable, me too. Saw Grand Funk at Winterland 71 or 72? Gimmie Shelter is still reverberating through my mind.
