Jet. Thank you so much. I mostly cook English foods. When I want something with flavour and tasty 😆 😅 😂 🤣 I go out to restaurants. Getting to costly now, with the hike in food prices. Love your step by step guide to cooking authentic tasty dishes. Love this dish. Cook it tomorrow night for dinner.
Love that sauce Jet! I’ll have to try mixing my soy with the molasses in my cupboard and see how that goes. I’ve never thought to use molasses in stir fry before. Thanks for all the great tips!
I would argue the best "comfort noodle dish" is chicken noodle soup. I swear by that stuff when i am sick or feeling sick. The good old Jewish penicillin. Even if it doesn't help, it's easy to eat, nutritious, and just comforting.
Oh my gosh, SO INFORMATIVE! I've been wanting someone to explain the knife cutting technique for a while. So many great things, and more than just great food!
if you're not used to fish sauce or decide to buy it for the first time to make this recipe, please TASTE IT first before dumping it in. fish sauces vary in taste not just from brand to brand but from country to country. if you taste it and it seems too strong, start with a lot less and taste your dish while cooking. you can always add more fish sauce later, but good luck trying to remove it. the brand he's using is three crabs viet hong fish sauce. this is a pretty affordable brand with a smooth and well-balanced flavor. it's on the milder side so 3 tablespoons of this isn't unreasonable (unless you're really not into fishy flavors in which case start with less than half).
I hope you're using those noodle scraps, or grandma's going to be upset!😂 Is there a substitute for Sweet Soy Sauce?" "WokMan". Showing your age Jet!!😂
@@m.theresa1385 but looking at the end result i don’t see enough. I want 50% broccoli 25% protein and 25% carb. Also the broccoli seems wilted not firm or snappy enough. But that’s how I make anyway.
@@Jimfromearthoo7 too funny! When I order takeout I always ask for crunchy vegetables, especially when I order string beans. Here I guess it’d have been crunchier if it wasn’t pre-steamed and just added to the wok, though it’d then have sprung water into the sauce. Home woks don’t get as hot as those in restaurants to burn off the steam.
Not sure why Jet continues to mispronounce “phad” but it’s pronounced “pod” NOT “pad”. Americans have a poor record in honouring the correct pronunciation of foreign words but the correct pronunciation of the THAI word for fried is “POD”.
“Pad” (ผัด) in Pad Thai should be pronounced the same way people pronounce “But” or “Cut” Most of the letter A in Thai word are pronounce “Ah” and not “Ae” “Pod” sound like ปอด which means lungs

Give this guy his own cooking show! He’s fantastic!
Don’t need anymore cooking competition shows
So true!! Food network is a mess unfortunately.
He did have his own show a couple of years back! Not sure why it got canceled but I would love for them to bring it back!
Jet is such a patient and excellent teacher!!
He’s the best educator I’ve ever had on tv to you tube ! He makes us all feel comfortable with the ability to make any of his recipes
I learned a lot. It's good to know it's pronounced payd versus paht. Amazing!!!
เพิ่งทำเมื่อวานเช้า ใส่บาตรและทานด้วย...อร่อยค่ะ...ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเส้นใหญ่ผัดซีอิ๊ว 👍

Nice 👍
Chet Tilakamonkun does a good job in front of the camera.
That’s such a thai name!
One of my all time favorites. Only thing is I prefer Chinese Broccoli. I like the greens and their bite.
Looks delicious, thank you 😊
Looks yummy!
Jet Tila you are the one
I like that priming the wok, cos no one likes a heap of oil.

Hi could you please tell me how much of each sauce you put in this recipe.
I love how you explain and educate the viewer. What is your nationality? If that is to personal I’m sorry
Thai cuisine is his nationality because he usually cooks Thai dishes
I believe He is American with Thai and Chinese descent.
Thank you chef Tila. Looks really good!!!!
Bro low key picking fights with thailand and italy in the same video
Jet is the best! Is he rocking a Patek?
i appreciate all the knowledge/wisdom he gives! yum! 😊
my fave! 😊
Can you tell me the brand names of the 3 sauces you use
i cant believe how much great info you packed into this video. So great. Thanks!
Would it be the same on a electric stove

i like cooking with chef mike :D
I like how you say the Asian names of the ingredients your working with, and origins, very masterful work.
"I won't judge you, much." LOL

Can I add onions in this dish cause I love onions
Can I use frozen broccoli?
No gai lan? Aka Chinese broccoli that's traditionally used for this dish. If your getting fresh rice noodle chances are they have Chinese broccoli.
I enjoy watching Jet cook... however, I miss his intro music.
Love it because it felt like a live show vs the kitchen wew it was trash they start cooking and show the cook product that was not freshly made lol
every Wok I have says not to use a metal utensil. Does it matter?
So glad that I clicked on this!
I need mango sticky rice, pleaseeee2

No one is going to find you if they are looking for a pad see ew dish! Lol
Is there a particular reason this is spelled so differently than normal?
Porfavor en español
Now if only Uncle Roger can react to this.
I can never find these noodles in asian stores 😢
I hope you're using those noodle scraps, or grandma's going to be upset!😂

I am not sure if I have seen this rice noodles in the Asian markets around here 🥲
Pad see you…. Lol

Isn’t it “Pad See Ew”?

Food Network can't get the name right lmao, It's Pad See Ew not You
I thought it was spelled Pad See Yew?
Pad See You or ew...well it's not spelled "you." lol

Could you just toss the noodles in the eggs before you put them both in?

The prep required for those noodles…is it really worth it? Not to me.
Ddd
from a thai chef, this is not
Actually Egyptians created pasta.
This isn’t authentic at all 😂 the way he cooked it and the ingredients
