You are correct, this dance is a traditional one, hence you hear a lot of drum beats. Yes, Alamat needs more recognition that what they are getting so please promote them to your friends. It's hard for them to go mainstream because their sound is different since they use the different dialects and incorporate a lot of cultural stuff in their music. They can't sing in English unlike SB19 because it will go against the purpose why their group was formed.
