As a Japanese Ohtani fan, I love Trout and Ohtani relationship, so the last scene of him on the bench staring at the end was kind of sad to me. But after the best fight, their relationship get stronger, be like buddy and brother, and win World Series in the end. That's what I really want to see.

Trout’s OPS that tournament was also .962… Obviously Trea was better than Trout this tournament but those of you saying Trout was bad this tournament are 🧢-ing so hard. I can't imagine how tough it must be to completely change your mindset from what's normally a practice/warmup time of the year to such an intense competition like the WBC has become.

But over three games in the knockout round, against better competition, he was awful: 3-15 (.200), 8 Ks, 10 LOB, 1 RBI, 1 run scored. He's going to see a lot of sliders off the plate and on the outside part this year.
