For PRS I went back to 243 match chamber with 1/7 twist and loving it so far 22 creedmoor back up rifle both are great

Hey Peter greetings from NW Montana. I have a Bergara HMR 300 PRC and I love it. Really great results with hand loads. I have been running Lapua, ADG, Peterson, and of course factory Hornady brass. It shoots fantastic with the Berger 215 Hybrid Target, 230 OTM, and 220 SMK.
It has a lot of kick that I am used to now. Shooting it under a steel room like you are, I feel like I have shell shock, my head literally hurts from the concussion. I want to try one of your brakes so bad. They look great too. Running a pretty standard 3 port with an Elfman Tactical trigger. Viper PST 5-25. I really enjoy your videos so keep up the good work!

I definitely have a love/hate relationship with muzzle breaks. I would love to have one because I don't want to have to re index on target. I also hate them because of the guy next to you...
In August I took a Lvl 1 Precision Rifle Class and the guy next to me was showering me with sand and gravel all day. I guess karma evened everything out since as far as I could tell I was the only one (not that I was watching everyone) on steel at 400 that day...with my $350 Axis and $280 Swampfox Patriot.

Hi Piet. Any reason for not fitting your tuner to the build? Surely that would've saved some time load development? Then you can load to your velocity that you want and use the tuner to get the group you want?

Not sure if you can mount the GoPro on the right side of the rifle, but it would be cool to watch you running the bolt too and it might keep it out of your eye line more. Though then you lose face time so maybe a toss up

Piet your last round may have been off due to barrel heat. It would be interesting to see the temperature delta from cold barrel to 5th shot.

Why’d you loose access to your rifles for a long time? I’m a frequent watcher but I tend to watch everything out of order so I’m curious what happened. You mention SA’s difficulties with barrels and the long wait so was it something related to that? Or is there a video I can be pointed about it.

The little snake you saw is a slug eater(sometimes referred to as a "Tabak Rolletjie") and it is completely harmless. Just don't pick it up, they musk and crap as a defense and that stink will stick on you for a week. 🤣

@@IMPACTSHOOTING Just a question. I notice you have your sherman magnum rifles mainly in the ESS chassis. I would have thought that the ACC chassis would have been a better option as you can add the weights and it's a heavier chassis. Just curious.

@@eggbert191 I saw that video, and both myself and another rifle enthusiast used thorough clean but getting varying results on cleaning the barrel properly. My buddy has another product which he said cleaned the barrel way better in a quarter of the time it takes with Thorough Clean.

Ek het nou toe ons gaan jag het my silincer op gesit by die jag huis en ons het agter op die cruiser gestaan en gery na die boer se skiet baan om zero te check. Dankie tog ons check zero die dag voor ons gaan jag. Daar wil my slot nie toe maak nie. Ek het load development gedoen en 100 nuwe brass gelaai met hornady stbt interlock. Ek soos. Vok my tpl is seker te lank vir een of ander rede nadat ek dit wel almal gecheck het. Vat toe van die sierra hollow point wat ek weet is reg. Nee wat, slot wil nog steeds nie toe nie. Ander manne skiet toe klaar. Ek skiet maar my 9mm 100meter op teiken en Joke toe ek sal seker met hom moet jag die jaar. Toe is ek darem moer negatief. Kom terug by huis. Het darem my hele skoon maak kit met lang rod en als in gepak. My silincer het ek nie skoon gemaak nie van haas en die carbon het los geskut van die bakkie se ry en op my slot gaan lê. Toe ek n ronte laai compress dit die carbon binne in die groewe waar die slot sluit. Dit alles skoon gemaak toe is hy weer reg. Moes toe maar n klip soek in veld en zero check die volgende dag. Was toe een van my lekerste jagte gewees op einde van die dag. Maar ja. Maak nou maar my silincer skoon met compressor elke keer as ek gaan skiet het.
