I've always wondered why there was never an NFL team in Nevada or Hawaii. Now look, we got Las Vegas Raiders in 2020.
We just need a team for Hawaii
Because of money and Jet Lag to a lesser degree, if Hawaii plays against The Chicago Bears that's an 8 hour flight for the visiting team just to put it in perspective, and even further for teams out on the East Coast.... the expense of flying longer distances and the exhaustion of mainly the Hawaii players (8 Road games plus play offs if they make it) due to more time spent on Airplanes would make it unfair. Honolulu has Aloha Stadium and enough population + visitors to support an NFL Franchise so that's not the issue

Damn, Hawaii football has really evolved. When I was a kid, only one team could pass really well and that was St.Louis. I also remember watching Kahuku vs LBP and St. Louis vs De La Salle. The Hawaii players were bigger, but the Cali players so much more skilled and athletic. The Hawaii players didn't even stand a chance.
You do realize that those were very close games right ? While De La Salle was smashing every team in Cali they almost lost to Saint Louis.

Long Beach poly will never be what they were. Early mid 90's late 2000's growing up in LBC poly was the most feared high school team. Do too the number of homies that gang bang. Yes the Islanders my Samoa homies. Those poly teams brought talent fear and aggression to the field. Now not so much talent nor fear.
The team to fear back then wasn't LB Poly.
It was De La Salle.

I remember Long Beach Poly Jack Rabbits were really good one year (2007 - 2008 maybe) and Grant High Pacers (Sacramento, California - DPH) went to the Championship against them in So Cal. It was a good game BUT Grant Pacers came out the Champions that year.

I said that Samoa ppl breed more NFL players per Capita than any other race. What that means is if you take a village of 100 Samoa ppl versus a city of 1000 black ppl and they both breed 10 NFL players that’s
.10% versus a .01% difference w/the higher percentage going to Samoa ppl bc of course they are a smaller group with more of its ppl going to the NFL. This has been proven in various NFL films, look it up.
