The Japan Powder Snowboarding Dilemma

Japan has been good to us. Laying down fresh powder almost every single day, even on days that haven't had snow in the forecast. The abundance of snow has opened up some really fun terrain and even created some serious dilemmas on which line to pick while its fresh! haha. Seriously though this was a really fun day snowboarding off Hirafu resort hitting up some gates that we knew would have great snow available. It's pretty awesome that after just a week we actually know some solid powder stashes around Niseko. To top it off when we got home the boys taking a down day had built a yard park!

For gate 9 did you guys have to walk a little bit after you hit the waterfall in the middle to hike back up the ledge on the right for that green run back to Hirafu? That’s what I had to do last time. A friend actually fell into the creek in the middle.

you can continue to the end through the pump track, or hike out. I think TJ just rode all the way. That part in the middle was sketchy yes!

Too bad i didnt met you guys. I didnt try G5, but i had plenty fun in G9 and strawberry field zone 💪
I saw bunch of ppl rode Gentem n Moss sticks.
In your opinion, does Niseko big trees sits too close to each other esp in mid section of slope? I hit lots off small trees too 😅.
I was struggling so bad on my Head Architect. Its stiff n even go full setback, my rear leg is burning 😥.
I think its time for me to consider a dedicated pow board.
