- I'm so happy school year's finally over! This is my little celebration (and my first time swinging in the city).

Love electro swing. You do a great job. I Wish that had been around when I was able to dance. At 71 and bad knees from years of dancing, cannot do it. I can do the arm part, though. Thanks for the enjoyable video.

David, I am turning 60 next week. My aim is to learn Electro Swing starting now. I think it will be hilarious no matter what happens. Give it a go. What have you got to lose other then a few pounds, lol
@@shortsweettoo Fitness (or weight) definitely isn't the problem. My biggest problem is that I was born with no rhythm and two left feet. Ah well, I'll just have to be good at other things and marvel at people that are good at this. And I'll expect regular reports and videos on how you're doing. (grin)
Swing is pure joy and a shuffle is as pure an expression of joy as I can think of. Way to spread some happiness

I love all you ES Dancers! Your vibe is so positive at a time when we need it. The athleticism is inspiring. It made me think of the wild dancing of the "Roaring Twenties" (Maybe you're creating another Roaring Twenties in this century) ....at least in style and dance. Also made me think of the monumental work of artists like Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell and Ginger Rogers...just to name a few...yet based on very current music. You return the spirit of FUN! We need it...we need you...keep it up, please.

I finally watched this on a larger screen than my phone, and your smile is just as contagious as your joy in dancing. I also learned that it was a school uniform and not an outfit you picked for the dance. Too much fun and thank you for posting, as I discovered another fun dancer, SMILIN, in your comment section. I found the electro-swing because of Sven Otten and a commercial he did for Dekka Investments, so now I watch videos like yours for a happy pick me up. I'm not sure it is possible to stay in a bad mood with so much positivity coming in sight and sound.

Holy Cow!! You express such GREAT joy!! I JUST discovered your video after watching other dancers like "Smilin" and "Sven Otten" purely by accident. Even though your video is a year old (to the date!) it has inspired me to try and learn the dance. I'm now in my mid sixties but think I can get up enough energy to dance for at least one minute...just gotta learn the moves. Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiring people such as me!

No, I've never had the chance, but it sounds fun!
