OMG thank you for this video., I LMFAO. I am newly retired and learning to sew, these bags are my project for my sons and their dogs, using them as guinea pigs right now. Most have turned out well, I few are hilarious mistakes. Thank you again!
Your vid just landed in my suggested list. Hilarious. Great project! I’ve been tinkering with making one of these with a zipper. You just solved my ? About the lining. Thx! I’m skipping the button hole. Wouldn’t it just work to have the bag end come out of the zipper with about 1/2” of zipper pulled down? Or a tiny grommet on the side. Trying to put in a real button hole would make me twitch.
Hi Jo, I love your quirky humor ;-) and the pouch of course! I have four Brussels Griffons and I am going to make a few of these pouches to match my handbags. I would like to add the button hole, but want to do it before sewing it all together. I have folded the pattern in quarter sections and it looks like about 1 1/2 in from the zip should be a good place for it....what do you think? How far is yours from the zip side?
OMG!!! I just stumbled onto this video and I fell in love with you!!! Your personality, humor and "potty mouth" are so refreshing. Then you cracked me up with your ADHD comment. I also have ADHD and am a crafter. I am definitely going to watch more of your videos. And then, at the end you mentioned you were going to have a tonsilectomy. I had the same symptoms as you, and at 33 I finally couldn't take it anymore and had the surgery. Obviously I am a little too late to give you encouraging words, but instead I will say that I am now 46 and have never regretted my decision. I was never able to drink anything too cold or with ice, because my tonsils would blow up instantly. Now I drink ice-cold drinks, eat ice cream whenever, and I have no problems. Lol
Thank you so much for this comment! Funny, I literally turned 33 the week I got my tonsils out 😂 Recovery SUCKED, but I would do it again to have the relief I currently have, so I'm very thankful!! And yay for fellow ADHD crafters! 🥰
@@holycrappitsjo yes, recovery was a bitch, but like you said, I would do it again in a heartbeat to get rid of those constant stones and the bad breath that I didn't know came from them.
@@roxanneberbec UGH they not only hurt, but also smelled horrible, I was so self conscious about it! The number of things I tried sticking back there to flush or push them out, definitely didn't help the inflammation 😅
@@holycrappitsjo LMAO... I guess it wasn't just me that may or may not have stuck manicuring and skincare instruments back there to get them out. Oh, the horrible memories!!!
Just found your video and absolutely love you!! I just sewed one of these today and yeah, my fucking buttonhole foot didn’t fit in my bag either! LOL plus you have a Dachshund and that makes it even better. (I have 2, and they make the same noises when dreaming). ❤
🖤🖤🖤 the buttonhole foot not fitting keeps me from making more of these, to be honest. Only for people I *really* like as a gift 😂😂 And my lil' stumpy guy is currently mad at me because I gave him a bath today. The ultimate betrayal!
@@holycrappitsjo I ended up doing my buttonhole vertical instead of horizontal, which works better with the “buttonholer”, but I still messed it up, it needs to be further down on the bag. (I’m new to making these but like to experiment). Oh and I also made a little d ring tab with a snap that I can hook on to my plastic leash handle and hook my poo bags right to that. Hugs to your doggo! They hate smelling better!

Put a Gromit to pull the bag thru
also a great idea!! honestly probably a lot quicker too!
🧡
You get to have a break from work. People get to take time off for medical procedures. Get over that in the next 90 seconds.
😂 point taken, Miss Ruby! 🥰
