yes and no XD his memories and spirit decided to hop over with the rest of the scions to return to the source: so his soul and memories are merged with his younger self, meanwhile his body is a crystal statue yet in the First. His body is "dead" and crystallized, but his memories and soul merged with his younger self and is why his soul is denser than the others' besides the WoL
