- Right so the Ice and Fire mod was updated back at the end of March, and with that update we now have amphithere's!
So of course I had to tame one XD

I remember flying on my Hippogryph and seeing an unlooted dragon nest.
"Neat, a dragon nest! But where's the dragon?"
*Suddenly on fire*
"Found it."
Amphithere's eat cocoa beans to heal. A good way to train them without risking death is to wear all ur armor and make sure ur not hungry. You will heal 100% of the damage taken by amphithere bites.
A cheaty way to kill dragons is to use a bow (I recommend getting power V) and hitting them while they sleep. You can also bow down a sea monster as they are very strong underwater.
I would also wear earplugs when flying over water. A siren once forced me off my hippogryph and I fell to my death.

and i've tried using a bow with the dragons but they always fly up and kill me lol, and yah the thing with the sirens has happened to me as well, it's annoying XD

Attelantice I may be a bit late on the reply train but there is something in the defense menu called iron skin which reduces damage by 5% each upgrade. I know I’m commenting on an old-ish video but I hope this helps out

Yay, you're back! :D Amphithere's are so pretty. :3 I continue to love your music selection, too!
Also, the dragons are spambots now. A stage 3 ice dragon just spammed ice breath at my diamond-armored stage 4 fire dragon without any variation of attack and killed him in a real-time minute, and my dragon (and I) couldn't even move out of it while it was happening. I was in creative mode testing the new additions, so I didn't die, but I could only watch. I feel like they've almost been buffed in order to keep up with those mod packs that come with lots of high tech or magic weapons. I love the new additions, but I wish the devs would consider players who don't have all of those extensive mod packs to fight the dragons... I miss the days of just jumping in there with my fist and the power of respawning. Now, they just spam their attacks from a distance. :/

And tbh I haven’t really noticed the dragons being spambots lol, but then again I haven’t actually fought one since the last update so will have to see
6:21 "More stuff I don't have a use for" You can use bones for dragon meal to increase their days and diamond horse armor for hippogryph armor! Also why don't you have journey map to make it easier? or if you don't want it, you can press F3 I think the key was F3 that lets you look at what biome and coordinates you are in. 4:19 and 6:40 no totally did not upgrade their AI. 8:52 should not be too rare because I on my survival gameplay I found a bunch of them and tamed one. Also their peaceful untill you hurt, try to tame them and when you hurt an animal within. (Thank you for getting blue thats my favorite color!) 19:22 *Hears hissnig* "Meh its from him" turns around and sees dragon "het het het het no no no no he" *flies away*. I love the episode!

XD thank you! and yah ik about F3 and the dragonmeal thing, (i just don't wanna use it :P), and journeymap is annoying to me XD
and the reason i think they're rare is because i have other mods that spawn in different mobs and that is probably interfering with their spawning, and ye ik that they're peaceful until attacked lol

dragon bone blocks are one of the only things immune to dragon breath, so you'll probably want to use the bones as a floor around your dragon forge
8:34 theres a red-orange amphithere. ive had these guys and before i figured out you can make them sit, i trained myself well enough to spot it. if you look closely into the trees you will see its wings and tail. its right above the armor bar(?)

OMG I love amphiteres so much, they are sooo beautiful, they're my favorite mobs from the Ice and Fire mod. I really like your survival and I made the same one, I mean I am using the same mods as you do, except from DOOGLAMOO worlds (sorry if I spelled it wrong) because it's easier for me to use Biomes o Plenty, because the DOOGLAMOO worlds has that thing that I don't like, at all, and that's ore generation... I find it really hard to search for different conditions that different ores generate as well as for STONE, otherwise the terrain looks pretty cool and I love it so much, sometimes I am sad for not using it but I think it would be really hard for me to survive. Also, I saw you made a pretty quick progress when we are talking about the ores and animals, so I wanted to ask if you use a creative mode for getting items you need sometimes or you get them all by yourself, and if you do is it hard? Also this are some pretty interesting, high quality videos, and thank you for that. ❤️❤️

just running about this you most likely know about them 😂 lol. anyway is any mods you have in this gameplay also for bedrock or pocket edition and most likely the sights say so but I can't find it if you don't know ill keep looking.

The amphitheater’s ai and functionality is a bit glitchy from what I tested. But they look awesome
lol yah, they look really good and they're cool when they're not being buggy XD
i've had issues with the flying parts mostly but besides that nothing else has been a problem lol

oh and also what do the eggs form the queen mantis is do can you show us and have you tryed to look by the sea temples for sea snakes idk how tho spell there name 😂
XD the mantis looking things are called Myrmex, and the sea snakes are sea serpents XD
and as for the eggs, they hatch if you place them underground and wait long enough, and depending on what kind of egg it is, it'll hatch into one of the five types of myrmex. They are a bit buggy tho. If you get a queen that lays an egg, and then you pick up the egg, it won't be recognized by the colony anymore and they'll attack it when it hatches, which is annoying .-.

@@Aguyakrystallos well, there's technically two ways to get a hive
1) you can find one and throw the workers myrmex resin so they collect it and bring it back to the nest, and once you give them enough you'll get a message saying they're now neutral, and then if you keep doing that enough, you'll get a message saying they're willing to trade, and i think at that point you can use a myrmex staff to control aspects of the hive. However that only lasts if you keep trading with them and keep giving them stuff as well as not hitting or killing them.
and 2) you can trade with a myrmex hive enough to get a queen egg, and once you have that, place it either underground or underneath something on the surface. Then be patient and it'll hatch.
If the queen that hatches has access to dirt blocks below her, she'll dig into the ground and make a hive of her own that will always be 100% loyal to you. If she doesn't have dirt, then she'll eventually just start laying eggs wherever she hatched. You can build custom hive things and designate rooms for the nursery and food and such so the workers that'll spawn know where to go.

So here's a story
One time I was in the ocean off the coast of an island right?
Then I saw a fire dragon cavern a few blocks underwater
Then at the same time
A female fire dragon just zoomed off into the distance after busting a huge hole into the roof of the cavern
Then I had to chase it roughly 1200 blocks before I finally managed to knock it out of the sky
Keep in mind that it landed a couple of times then just flew off again
And the dragon had about 350-404 health
So between the middle of stage 4 and the beginning of stage 5
This thing was massive
But atleast I got an egg out of it
I had 3 other eggs too
1 of them being an electric blue egg
Aka a lightning dragon egg
Then another being a sapphire ice dragon egg
The last was a black lightning dragon egg
Keep in mind that I didn't have a fire dragon egg yet
That was the first one I got on the survival world

Oh and btw the fire dragon egg was red but the dragon I got it from was grey
