Despite his illness, Ikenna keeps rightfully declaring that he's the coolest polyglot on RUclips. So cool to watch you transition from language to language. Plus I appreciate how you showed it wasn't effortless and took a second to switch from one to another!
He is amazing indeed!😍 There are couple of them I would describe as better in terms of number of language they can speak, such as Wouter Corduwener, Steve Kaufman, etc. But this is not a competition, at least I believe so. Ikenna is unique language enthusiast for sure.😊
The Time you need to switch languages actually depends on the person or rather if they grew up bilingual or not. For those who did it can be an instant transition depending on how good you speak the other language. Still impressive tho.

Native dutch here. And your Dutch is amazing. You do have a strong english accent which is noticeable in your pronounciation of certain words. But it's really really good.
Impresionante!
¡Buena suerte y no te rindes!

Super excited about the app! You're one of the people who truly got me into language learning, and today I'm proud to say that I could understand all language talked in this video (to varying levels, ofc) except Igbo! I also live in Blegium, so who knows, maybe I'll bump into you some day, I'd love to have a convo with you about just life and languages ^-^ Cheers man
Did I just see you standing up? What a pleasant surprise. So happy that your situation is at least getting better even occasionally. I guess that as your native Nigeria is a multi-language country with English as its Lingua Franca, I am guessing that these English words popping up during speech may be an actual representation of Igbo too. I saw this many times in India and Philippines. An English word here and there during a dialogue in Hindi (or Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi etc) and Tagalog (or Cebuano, etc)
I'm from Nigeria🇳🇬 and I'm Igbo. And yes, you're correct, to an extent. We do borrow some words from the English Language. But the mixture occurs with people that are not exactly too fluent in the language yet. A very fluent speaker can tell an entire story in Igbo, without having to mix in any English unless it's absolutely necessary. And the necessity would arise as a result of words that didn't previously exist until much later in contemporary times (and even those words are slowly developing Igbo alternatives). Ikenna is doing so good, I'm so proud of him. If he keeps at it; practicing it, and most of all, having conversations in the language with fluent speakers (his family), he'll keep getting better and better. Added Bonus: This isn't related, but Ikenna means "Father's Strength". Very nice name 😊
I'm so excited for this app and to see what all you have in store for us. You have came so far! Great videos! Also, I wanted to add that your chinese is very good! All the languages that you speak sounds great. I am mostly excited to learn chinese and russian from Fluyo 😁 It would be so cool to see you partnering up with Xiaomanyc or Ryan Hale someday, they're great😂

I'm honestly surprised at your story and how similar it is to mine? I'm an American who both failed at spanish in school but for me I had to take two levels of a language class and pass, so I originally chose chinese for...whatever reason and aced it, then I moved schools and they didnt offer chinese anymore so I swapped to Japanese (also for anime!) and did not as well as in my chinese class but it was still fun! Right now I'm 22 and I'm still trying to learn everything but I was able to understand even a tiny bit of all 3 of those languages and it was so cool and such a huge motivation for me to keep going on my own language journey! It was also super refreshing to hear that such a wonderful polyglot was also like..."yea my spanish in school was REALLY bad" haha I hope to be able to even be a fraction as successful as you are in a few languages ideally Japanese, Chinese and Korean cause I love all 3 of the cultures surrounding the languages and I feel if I learn them I will be able to make so many cool and interesting friends and meet people!
You're absolutely amazing. Your Japanese is awesome. I also have one video in my channel speaking several languages and it's a short one. I'm thinking of creating a much longer video. Anyway, greetings from Croatia!

Native dutch here. And your Dutch is amazing. You do have a strong english accent which is noticeable in your pronounciation of certain words. But it's really really good.
Impresionante!
¡Buena suerte y no te rindes!
Can you give me some books for learning Spanish that was written in English?? I'm wondering what books to go for!!
@@nhan156 a good textbook i work from daily for the most part is easy Spanish for beginners and short stories in Spanish for beginners (it’s a novel with guided questions)
Text book for understanding and granmar, and the short stories for comprehension
He will understand it anyway XD
Super excited about the app! You're one of the people who truly got me into language learning, and today I'm proud to say that I could understand all language talked in this video (to varying levels, ofc) except Igbo!
I also live in Blegium, so who knows, maybe I'll bump into you some day, I'd love to have a convo with you about just life and languages ^-^
Cheers man
I was stunned how good your russuian is! Mostly no accent and one grammar mistake. Wow dude, you are really amazing!
Ton français est incroyable !! Bravo !! 👌🙏
i couldn't have learnt anything without u ikenna thank you for everything
It was cool to see your Dutch become more correct as you went on with your story, you definitely have it in you still
YOur Videos motivate me and isnpire me when i start losing interest to continue :)
"Chinese, oh blya, Chinese, give me a moment" that sound like a native Russian. You r amazing at learning languages, keep going)
As japansese, I'm impressed to your speaking. Nice Language Leaning Ikenna!

4:42 The only correct way to start a russian monologue: "блять" 💯
Man you truly give me motivation behind learning German, and you make me wanting to speak at least 6 languages... thank you so much!
I can already speak 3 languages (2 are very simillar (Czech, Slovak, English)) and then i wanna add German, Spanish and either Korean or Japanese
Thank you for the motivation!
I learned german It will take at least 5 years till you speak well
@@thanos1229 even tho i was born with some form of slow learning dissability, With the method i used to learn english to a level of a native speaker almost... i think that i can do it in 3 years or less... but yes it will take me around 6 to 7 years of constant using of the language to be close to native, and im glad i have lot of german friends, that are willing to speak to me or help me with it on the level im on at that moment
O homem voltou!!!
I so much loved the igbo. Its not perfect but so impressive. I'm an igbo girl who speaks igbo and also speaks and learns a bunch of other languages. Kudos nwanne.
you seem like you're having so much fun with languages
your videos and effort is really inspisering! I really wanna learn Chinese, Japanese and Russian! Can't wait for fluyo to launce! in the meanwile im going to get to my anki deck
i‘m impressed about the motivation and success u have. Much love 🧡👑🔱💪🏻
OMG your Japanese is sooo good 😮 the choice of vocabulary is so upper level 🔥
Such a huge inspiration to all of us, keep it up dude!
You're absolutely amazing. Your Japanese is awesome. I also have one video in my channel speaking several languages and it's a short one. I'm thinking of creating a much longer video. Anyway, greetings from Croatia!
Muito maneiro cara!
Amazing Bro! 👊⚡
That's really cool!🇧🇷✌️
International chat is so cool. You can meet so many friends and speak with it.
And polyglots is so beautiful people. I also learn English but I can’t speak fluently and I don’t understand some words.
Sorry for my mistakes
Have a good day/night ❤
Man you're such a inspiration. I really want to pursue learning more languages.
I stopped trying to learn Japanese but recently i got a job as a cook (another super new thing to me( in a Japanese kitchen and now i want to REALLY do it.
Allerbeste!
We miss this type of video from you bro...nice one
Very impressive. Wirklich ein erworbene Fertigkeiten. Gut gemacht.
EVERYONE was shit at spanish in school. There's a big difference between being forced to pass tests because of school for languages you don't currently use, and developing an interest to opening up your brain blurble to new languages
I was so funny that you switched from one language to another 😂😂😂 I couldn't see it in other polyglot videos
I'm proud! I was able to understand almost everything you said in spanish! You are my inspiration.
That PIZĢETS part cranked me up a bit. A bit rude word you choose but nevertheless, I died of laughter. 👌😂
P.s. Oh! never though you would have Latvian friends. That's amazing!
So impressive and inspiring! I speak English, French and Greek, and I am currently learning Spanish! But I really want to learn Japanese, Russian and ASL in the future :) Hope I could be as cool as you one day!
Omg I want to sing all the C Drama soundtracks especially Handsome Siblings, Omg there are SO many good historical dramas out now! Thank you Ikenna for an inspiring video
I started learning French because of you and I'm proud that I understood the French part of the video without looking at the subtitles!
Imagine getting in an argument with a guy who can insult you in eight languages
I am only a B1 French speaker, been studying it for a year now constantly working on it and I was somehow capable of understanding everything you said even while covering the subtitles, guess I should be more confident in my French ability.
