Normally I dislike the "Oh it's an Action Master!" comments non-transforming Transformers get, but this guy looks like an Action Master to me. His proportions, size, and lack of any translucent plastic give me huge Action Master vibes.
one thing about Starscream, if you didn't already know he was a bad guy wouldn't you think he was the hero? He has a very patriotic color scheme with the red white and blue, and his wings give the illusion of a cape, he looks very much like a super hero. I know the toy came first and then the fiction was written but I feel like at least his colors would have been different if they knew they were making a bad guy.
@@PunchCounterpunch_Lizzy yay. That means with either of these, or the bigger figures, you can basically create Ghiltor, with a few extra Megatron parts missing. Just put the arms and legs of Megatron onto Optimus, and there you go.
Does anyone else find it odd that a non-transforming Grimlock has an obvious transformation hinge molded in anyway? That lump on the back of his neck is where the Dino head would fold back to reveal the robot head on the original toy and I don't think that was ever included in the animation model. It's rather distracting seeing the transformation hinge that's not a real hinge there. 😂
These blow away the R.E.D series from hasbro and should have been made like this not what hasbro gave us with gummy parts and odd choices like bumblebee being way too big compared to Optimus Prime and Starscream being to big compared to Megatron and Soundwave as well in that R.E.D series I gave up on the figures after that mess because they didn’t scale correctly and looked way off imo. I do wish Soundwave had a opening panel with tape versions of laser beak, ravage, rumble and frenzy. Starscream has a black colored face in g1 so he looks different than Skywarp and Thundercracker who have silver faces. I love Yolopark and have several amk series figures Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Optimus Primal, Scourge. Cheetor is coming next week and the amk pro series g1 Megatron next month and hopefully getting Rhinox very soon
Are legends class this size? Like taht there are no gaps. If hasbro did this instead of teh action ones, I think they would have done better. What were they called? I just remember teh commercial was like, they gave up their ability to transfrom to become more powerful. ACTION MASTERS yeah those. should have been this.

It actually was part of the animation model. It's supposed to be gray, though.

I wish they would just make them in proper Action Master decos and include some of the Action Master original characters
I was hoping for some size comparisons to Genertions figures.
IMO the whole point of a model kit is the "hours" of putting it together. This is just an action figure with extra steps. They look good though.
