I'll ad one. - When asking for a thing like a gum or cigarette, you either ask only when you're out already, or you let the person you ask know "Hey, I got two but I need one for the road home and one for morning coffee tomorrow, can I have one?" Had that happen before and the person you're asking just ends up seeing you still got those 2 and they feel like you're just abusing their kindness.
