Literally the first actually *useful* "how to identify two-way mirrors" video I have seen

Method 4: "Break the mirror"
Most likely. There aren’t 2 way mirrors in hotels due to each hotel room being right next to each other. The only way there could be a 2 way mirror in a hotel is if your room is right next to a storage room or maintenance areas.

So if the light passes through instead of reflecting, then it is a 2-way.
But this is only my idea about what he did. I am not sure about the correct idea.
2 way Mirror solution, if you know its a 2 way then write a note that says i can see you and put in on the 2 way mirror.

If you do see a two way mirror,
*Free Bird starts playing*
There is a forth way and it uses tape(4 layers), black,green,red, blue markers, and tape in the middle. First, you need to be at a hotel to make sure if it's haunted or not. Second, you need to put the 4 layers of tape in a square shape. (2 vertically, and 2 side ways). Third, you need to use the black marker for the first layer on the top left corner of the tape you just put ago and then shade it, and then, you put the green and red marker in the middle and then shade, and then lastly put the blue marker on the bottom right corner and shade it in. Fourth, you put the singular tape in the middle. And then for the final trick to prove it is maybe 2 sided or not, you take off the tape and put your thumb like when you do the thumbs-up thing and put it in the middle of the square. If it shows your thumb, it's not 2 sideded, so it isn't haunted. But if it is, it is haunted. This proves to show that this can save your life if someone is spying on you.
