YourPC/MAC should always be at max volume because your pc/Mac degrades the audio quality to lower the volume. Always use volume on the speakers for best sound quality.
Partially true. Some operating systems like Android reduce the volume of the digital audio signal before sending it out to the DAC, which does technically degrade the quality because the audio signal has a finite resolution. A reduction in volume means you're only using part of the resolution. Other operating systems support sending the digital audio signal at full resolution and instead instruct the DAC to configure its gain according to the system volume level. Assuming the DAC does what it's supposed to and reduces the internal amp gain instead of reducing volume digitally, this does not degrade audio quality. The Apple USB-C DAC is notable for imposing a volume cap if it does not receive instructions to adjust gain, this happens when it is connected to most Android devices. However, it operates properly when connected to iOS/macOS/Windows devices, suggesting they support the "better" volume control method. Though there is an argument to be made if the "inferior" volume control method employed by operating systems like Android is even audible in the first place.
Been a week and Creative tech support still hasn't answered my email. Speakers refuse to show up at all on the list of devices. I've tried uninstalling all audio devices then restarting, trying multiple USB ports I know work (i.e. keyboard/mouse), updated all drivers, and still they don't show up in Sound Devices section. The green light is on so I know it's getting power. All my USB ports are the standard 3.0. Do I need an adapter maybe? I'm just gutted. Was so excited at the reviews and waited weeks to get delivered (was delayed 2x) and now they sit here like paperweights. EDIT: Using Windows 10 PC and have the standard Pebble 2.0
@@ToolsElectroDIYGoing to return them I suppose. Absolutely no technical support and no use keeping speakers that refuse to be recognized by the computer. :(
Bruh they’re like $18. Just return them or buy another pair. Jesus Christ. U sound like a child. Plus are u dumb? U plug in usb to power and 3.5mm to your computer. Did u even read the manual? Creative probably didn’t answer your email because they can see you’re obviously retarded.
I accidentally bought a set of Pebble 2 speakers, turns out I actually needed Pebble 3. The Pebble 2's still need a 3.5mm jack for audio - the Pebble 3's are entirely USB-C. I thought all the Pebble's were entirely USB-C, I thought wrong.

that makes a horrible interference noise and poteintiallyy clips the amp and ruins the speakers..

Very useful, thanks for the video.

Can it take the power source from 3.5mm jack? Say if I want to connect it directly to my monitor.
No, you can't. USB power must be connected.
you can plug the usb cable to a usb power supply and just stick that to any power outlet

This might be a dumb question, but will the speaker work if I connect the usb to my samsung charger?

it uses 3.5 mm audio cable, not USB.
lol just cause your dumbass got a bad batch doesn't mean people shouldn't buy it. What a stupid take.
I plugged it in a usb and everything and it doesn’t work???? Doesn’t show up on my desktop at all.
It’s not a USB speaker. It is only powered by USB you need to plug in the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
You need 2 cables for power and audio with V2. Get V3 if you want 1 USB cable to provide BOTH audio and power BUT you need a USB-C port.
