Question concerning technique: How much do you engage the core and how much do you engage the shoulders? I feel like the perfect technique would mean that you rotate only from the core and use the shoulders as support. Because rotating via the pull from the shoulders is harder and is almost a shoulder workout on its own, whereas keeping the arms straight and working from the core seems much more efficient. Thanks for the feedback
Hey sorry wasn't really onto the comments, How is it going now? You will need to work on hip compression. Let me know if you need support with it :) Happy to help
My problem with this movement is my feet hit the bar and as far as I know, my knees are hitting my chest and my arms are straight. It's easy on rings or a pull up station that has no bar in the way for my feet to hit 😆 are my arms just... too short??
You probably just lack some flexibility. I had the same issue, and I did not really pay attention. But I started to include some flexibility training, and one day I just could do it by getting in the 'right' position.
@VelGoesBrrr I'm very flexible so not sure about that. Can hold some pretty good back bends and not that far off getting middle and front splits. Also strong enough to keep my quads as close to my chest as they can get throughout the movement. Maybe my feet are just too long 😆
Thank you for teaching me skin the cat with this video
I wanted to know how to remove the skin off of the animal 'The Cat'.
Haha false advertising
Why would you want that!? That's a snuff film
Great explanation but for some reason I'm scared of going through 😢 so I stop at the bar
I completed this exercise but how do I remove the skin off the cat? I don't get it
I didn’t know Logan Paul did calisthenics
what a shame...
Right, I'm terrified of this move, not falling but going over. Advice?
@@j.v.sutter2087 Good advice.
Once you do one of them, the fear will disappear.

Nice video man! I am currently progressing skin the cat, but I always got my knees stuck at the bar
Me too!Any ideas how to fix it?
@@МартинПанчовски-е1к do it on rings
@@gangster2855 No, but like if you want to learn a shrimp flip. What to do then?

Nai
I always Stuck with my fests how I can solve this problem
Dont let go of the bar
This is so bad. The real way to skin a cat is
1. Get a peeler.
2. Peel.
👍

There's more than one way to skin a cat. What are the others?
