@@Roryog it’s more the conversations of trying to tell someone that no matter what, we’re not gonna hit the ball 220 because we’re maxing out 180 with a driver. Telling them to stop playing a 3 wood because their driver is now 13° and a 3 wood doesn’t get high enough in the air to go further than a 5 wood. They don’t need to play a 5 iron anymore, time to invest in a hybrid. Those conversations. It’s not about confidence at that point, it’s about giving your clients clubs that are actually going to help their game

Ok Grant. At my best I was a short 11 HC. That slowly tapered off as I became a Correction officer, a husband and then a Father to my two awesome boys. A little over 6 years ago my partner at work and I had to break up a 4 man fight in the prison leaving me with a lower back injury. Luckily no surgery needed. I hung up the clubs because I had to. I couldn’t play, I didn’t even watch golf all that time. About 3 years ago I started my own channel “SemiReTired”. So being on RUclips allot I recently bumped into your channel. Got instantly hooked again. Also Good Good and Gabby and so on. But this video really sparked something in me. I’m going to dust off my clubs and hit the range tomorrow. Just to see exactly how much I lost. But I just want to tell you that this episode was awesome. And I am now binge watching your channel in between things. You are all phenomenal players and sportsman. The way this game should be played. Thanks for such great content. I might even do a video and film what im sure will be a disaster starting back up. I had always wanted a set of mizuno mps but never bought any afraid I couldn't game them ....my best friend since we wore diapers bought me a set for 20 years of service working for his and his dad's company ....we have always played every chance we get and usually always on Saturday mornings as early as they would let us out on the course ...he bought me a set of mp5s ....I just had got fitted for a set of Callaway apex pro ....2 months prior to him gifting me with the mp5s in same spec.....took them out the very next Saturday....Callaway apex pros got sold mp5s been in the bag every since ....it was such a nice gift ....and I was very appreciative....so yeah its nice have a friend who thinks that much of you ....he will always remember you doing this for him ...good stuff Grant

He's one of the go to guys for the pros I bet he could set up the clubs for most of the top players without looking at his notes. Loft, length,and bend. Of the golf channels I subscribe to I enjoy almost all of the content they put out, but as to not fill up my likes with things I may never watch again I rarely hit that like button, but I just had to hit like with this one. Best part for me was how he got the full kingdom treatment and while I assume they must have more than one fitter it was just the icing on the cake how they made trottie available for this fitting giving him as good a treatment as any other sponsored TM athlete.

My best club in the bag is a 5wood taylor made burner superfast with a quite stiff (compared to my other clubs) high quality shaft. straight relatively low rockets with relaxed swing (stiff in a high quality shaft is not the same as stiff in an off the shelf club. It's stiff but still smooth). Can bend it both ways. And so easy to pick up from tight lies. No need for 3wood. So my lesson learned loft is only a number (18 degrees on that mama) - it's mainly shaft, cog of the club and the right weight. My irons are 20year old ben hogan plus irons with regular steel - phenomenal clubs. Driver mizuno st220 - i like it a lot, buttery soft. But i tried a stealth1 with ventus red stiff (non tr) 9,5 in two rounds recently, and that thing was the best i have ever played. Unfortunately not willing to spend money for yet another driver....keeping dreams in pocket. Great vid, everyone nice and knowledgable. Fun to watch. It's a priceless "dude" gift you organized for your best pal, mr. horvat. Greetings from munich, germany.

Love these types of videos with Trottie for sure. Grillo is totally a deserving guy for this fitting. I would have liked to see him on the golf course hit each shot twice though since Grant was caddying there should have been time for that. Now to get Grillo some new over sized chompers so he can join team chompers.

Love the fitting. I was fitted at Club Champion in Hilton Head (Blufton) inside. My fitting went a bit different than Henry's in regards to the parameters Trottie spoke about. Thanks again for such an informative video.
I had Henry’s same view on 3 woods. From all through highschool and college, could never remotely hit one. After a 5 year hiatus and restarting in golf. Found a good deal on a used 3 wood. Gave her one practice swing, then whacked at one. Was the cleanest hitting club I ever felt. Completely changed my bag setup immediately lol

Love these types of videos with Trottie for sure. Grillo is totally a deserving guy for this fitting. I would have liked to see him on the golf course hit each shot twice though since Grant was caddying there should have been time for that. Now to get Grillo some new over sized chompers so he can join team chompers.

What a great friend. Awesome deal. Congrats Henry. I love Taylormade and my kids both play Taylormade. Grant want to come to Minnesota and play some golf with an aspiring 13 year old. He tried out for his high school team and made it to last cuts. Hopes to make the team next year.

Love the fitting. I was fitted at Club Champion in Hilton Head (Blufton) inside. My fitting went a bit different than Henry's in regards to the parameters Trottie spoke about. Thanks again for such an informative video.

I had Henry’s same view on 3 woods. From all through highschool and college, could never remotely hit one. After a 5 year hiatus and restarting in golf. Found a good deal on a used 3 wood. Gave her one practice swing, then whacked at one. Was the cleanest hitting club I ever felt. Completely changed my bag setup immediately lol
