Brilliant shadows. Gives a great sense of the effort you put in.

Did the Wrynose and Hardknott back to back both ways last weekend and id have to say Wrynose from Ambleside is the toughest hill ive been over to date. Again great video Sean keep up the good work.

Just completed this one last week - say completed, I stopped half way for a break and then walked the final hill, kudos for anyone that completes - one day I'll be back! As hills don't really come much harder, didn't mind not fully climbing on the bike - but it was bloody hard for sure.

Good effort, the surface looks terrible!

This way up Wrynose (from Ambleside) is brutal not least for the final part (after 11mins) which can catch you unawares and force you to dab. Don't be a quitter and stick it up your shitter

Im looking to have a go at wynrose pass. never cycled in the lakes. is there anything to compare it to in the Peak District. tackled snake pass and winnets pass without to much trouble, as those are my local climbs. Cheers

Justin Willerton steeper than Winnats, not as long as Snake Pass. If you can ride those two you'll get up it. Don't go hard at the bottom, you need to save your legs until you cross the stone bridge about 2/3rds of the way up. You get a slight rest just after it, ease right back there for a while and once it starts to ramp up again just dig in until the top.
There is a false top where people park cars, don't stop until you are looking down into Cockley Beck.

I managed Snake Pass after 50 miles and also included Holme Moss - I didn't manage Wrynose however! @@seanowens7037
