Your dog is stellar! I love to watch a well trained dog. My favorite, walking backwards. I’m working on that, lol! My dream… to be a trainer, I’m not, I’m not living that illusion. My dogs will be fine, but not trained in such a manner. Thanks for your videos!
Having a hard time keeping my Belgian tight if the reward isn’t always there she loses focus but stays heeling just sloppy until the treats come out I’m starting defense training and your videos are very helpful I love the drive and I always incorporate your techniques she is learning so fast and am amazed at the progress
Your videos are the best I've seen as far as dog training goes. Building confident, obedient and bite works. Most i've seen on youtube are people just showing off already trained dogs.
@@AndyKrueger can you do a video on tips to how to keep your BM from reacting to people or pets, etc. Where they just stay in place until command to be free?
Simply superlative instruction!! As a new granddaddy, gotta love the wee babe co-star; and my new Nana wife digs your channel best because of your co-star! ;) That abyss-deep, calm and confident bite out of a 5.5 mo pup is outstanding! Thanks for all!
A great video, thank for it! Where can i bis such a dog-harness like Jaspers wear it here? Whe're looking forward for the next videos! Many regards from Germany
@@AndyKrueger I actually do have a question, or rather a curiosity. Why use a prong collar? I see lots of mals with em. We have a shiba, she was really sensitive to the slip lead, but our Mal basically chokes herself without care. We’ve considered prong collars but learning more about them since people love or hate em
@@vpsquared I’m a huge fan of the prong collar, as long as a credible professional is involved. The prong collar is a tool. Just like a hammer, you can hit someone in the head with it or build a house. Doesn’t mean hammers are bad. The prong collar imitates the sensation of the mother correcting her pups with her mouth. It is natural to the dog. When pressure is applied, the prong collar evenly contracts around the neck, rather than putting all pressure in one spot which can choke/ harm the dog. When used properly, they are very effective when teaching the dog to yield to the leash rather than pull against it. No doubt in the wrong hands they can be misused and cause harm to the dog, but so could anything else. Hope this helps! 🙏🏼
sorry if a million people have asked this question but where is the harness from? Getting a puppy to start French ring with soon and want to get a good harness for him.
Love it, but curious what the sticks actually used for? Are the split bamboo sticks in some way directing the dog, encourage it to bite harder or loosen a bite or reposition or something else? Great vids!
why are you using both of your sticks and both of your legs for bitework and not just one at a time? great jon btw.. your wife seems like a nice handler knowing the key momentsand she helps you build the dog
My wife is the best 🙏🏼 She’s a very talented handler and trainer. I like to make both sides (legs) the exact same. Same sleeve same stick so both are identical. Dog never knows which leg he’ll bite until he bites! Makes it more unpredictable so his quick technique develops 🤙🏼
Just found your channel, I’m a few vids in... so far it’s interesting 👍
Thank you very much! 🙌🏻
Grande e bellissima la bimba che sta vicino ai tuoi cani e questo la dice lunga sui tuoi cani grande carattere ma soprattutto grande equilibrio

Thank you Andy, very encouraging. We're working on this today and it makes me feel better that even You're not immune to stepping on your dogs foot. 🥰

@@AndyKrueger awesome. Thanks for taking time to respond!
Going through some of these older videos. Do you give high value food for this or just everyday kibble?
👏🏻
🙏🏼

No worries! It is from Ikon Outfitters
I believe Leerburg sells them 👍🏻
can u show us how u do basic obedience
This is a vast topic and can greatly vary depending on the dog, but I will certainly keep in mind for future videos! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I can't find anyone involved in French ring here in the UK
My most accessible dog sport is IGP which will do for now
question our dog is SUPER hyper and playful when we try to work with him any tips on how to calm him down..thanks he is 8 months old
Always have a leash on and use a high value food reward like chicken 👍🏻
Love it, but curious what the sticks actually used for? Are the split bamboo sticks in some way directing the dog, encourage it to bite harder or loosen a bite or reposition or something else? Great vids!
In a real life situation, whoever the dog is bitting will try to defend themselves. The sticks help making sure the dog will continue the attack.
How do you keep him from sitting?
Puoi dirmi per favore che test caratteriali usi per la scelta del cucciolo saluti dall' Italia e un abbraccio ai tuoi cani

Why no contact heeling?
He actually is making contact, just very light to not make it an uncomfortable walk for the handler 👍🏻
What if I don’t have a baby? Will my training be worthless without one? Should I even bother? So many questions 🤔
Hahaha! Yes the baby is crucial! 😂😂🙏🏼
Andy is that Jasper or Freddy , I love to watch your video but I ask you your Zodiac sign you did not tell me and your Amelia is simply adorable
