Cool video, I'm a Bo Burnham fan myself and I think this is something that makes him even more iconic. He's so aware of everything, especially himself. Cheers. Also, View 174, comment 5
The paradox and contradiction that you are stating as if it was objective fact really fall flat when you realize that his work has remained relevant despite the fact that he does not pander to the social media algorithms. His last RUclips post was over 2 years ago, and it was uploaded without monetization. He does not actively tweet, post on insta or reddit. He's an artist (please God, forgive him) not an influencer.
It's not a contradiction for Bo to criticize the world we live in while also being a successful performer. Looking at interviews or even just his specials, you can see he loves performing. You say he mocks the idea of performance, but he's actually mocking what the system turns the preforming arts into: Empty commodities. He's voiced his love for performing, but to pursue it, he has to work within that system. Its unfair to blame him for that when as a preformer his hand is being forced. Just because he's successfully playing the cards he was dealt doesn’t mean he's contradictory for calling the game unfair. If anything, the best criticisms come from people trapped in that system. All this to say, he's the definition of hate the game not the player. Still a good video, also, View 318, comment 6. Hi
At least involve some of hits actual bits here and there. Just hearing you voice it over across the whole video does not at all illustrate your points, and is boring.

This is a bad take on Bo Burnham and a paradox
