Hi Djamel, thanks for the feed back. I dont spend much time focusing on Adler machines, or walking foot machines in general. If I get one in the future I will keep your request in mind.

How often do you do this ? And is there ever a point when you need to clean up old oil, dry it off and start to oil it up again?

I think a pretty standard rule of thumb for industrial sewing machines is a light oiling for every 4 hours of use. Yes, sometimes equipment does need to be disassembled for cleaning. Its less of an issue if the user has been lubricating with straight mineral oil than if grease, or a wax based lubricant has been introduced.
