It’s unsanitary to allow exchange or returns on wigs. You can’t properly sanitize them. BUT they should have made that clear before anyone buys a who or extensions

You do the same shit at Sally's too. It doesn't matter what color you are. I don't like to shop & I'm in n out of a store mad quick , just cause someone's black doesn't mean they only have the option to go blonde or red. Anybody can go any color they want to.

I work at a beauty supply and no returns on hair is normally due to hygiene reasons we don’t return wigs ever! Other hair in new condition is ok but we have it posted everywhere
If its in the package do u return it? Like if u buy it, bring it home, take it out (but not wear it) is there a way to tell? Do all wigs & hair pieces come in packages?
I'm seriously jus curious cause to me it's gross too (it's almost like trying to return underwear) lol! Unsanitary.

When I bought my hair extensions I had a small hiccup with the company and actually found out that due to health and sanitation laws, it is illegal for hair companies or vendors to accept returns of used hair. This is the case for human hair at least. I was surprised too but it has to do with sanitation and makes sense for customer safety

Yeah I’ve ordered extensions/ wigs both real human hair and synthetic from multiple stores including amazon and they tell you you can’t return them if they are opened.
I actually recognized this place lol. I go here all the time, and the owner is extremely kind. She even gave me some free kids products after my daughter was born and always likes when i change my hair up. I havent had a bad experience there, but i never knew it was poorly reviewed. To be fair, there is a sign outside the door and also at the register stating that they do not take hair returns, and it makes sense.

The manager shouldn’t be yelling at her staff especially with customers that can hear... I enjoy being left alone to shop & when I need something go up and ask (that would have been interesting to go up and ask for help on something to see how they would react). But it’s not uncommon to have a no return policy in hair. Hair is such a touchy subject & stores can’t resell it after it’s been sold then returned. Usually IF there is a return policy, it’s returnable only if the hair hasn’t been opened (like the seal hasn’t been broken). I liked this video, it’s interesting lol almost like your an undercover beauty agent 😂

Those beauty supply stores are not corporations so they have a no refund policy. Most beauty supplies stores I’ve gone to in my city are no refund or exchange.
