Sounds extreme off the cuff, but it's more affordable than you think. I had a condo in Toronto that was twice the monthly cost of ownership of this. If it's purchased as a live-aboard, it's more reasonable than initial thoughts when you itemize it all down. Mooring is an important factor as places like Anguilla or St Kitts are a premium over other islands.👍
What a wonderful boat/yacht. A boater for many years I have had the privilege to see a vast variety of concept yachts, this one takes the cake. The only bad thing it is outside of my snackbracket. Great job Aquila!
Exactly, plus the continuous use of word "storage"... Overall, it is a good boat, nice presentation, even if the presenter is a little nervous with very repetitive arm motion and body language.
Beautiful boat-one very minor complaint is accessibility of the microwave. You'd have to be around six feet to be able to reach it across the counter top.
I was watching this video, wondering where I would place solar panels. Wondering if they can be placed on the bow where the mats are. I'd probably stow the mats unless needed and use the solar most of the time.
@@Maranatha1594 lmao. Hell he lost me when he said the stairs is a backrest lmao. And they were somehow a seat too. I was like dude what stairs CAN'T be sat on lol.
@@TheBestAsianGamer Silent yacht will run on batteries at about 5 mph for about an hour. Then you have to start the diesel engines. Solar and battery power is great for running the fridge and AC at night though.
Nice job on the very informative features review. A technical review would be great. I had zero interest in the power cat genre a few years ago. Aquila changed my perception and really leapfrogged the other offerings with the forward Master cabin. I am not a fan of the light colored wood and flat pack look but I assume Aquila will work with the customer on interior design. I’ve been looking at trawler style yachts for a while but this is very interesting, and comes with a cool mini-me Tender. Thanks!
I think this is a BEAUTY. I would just make a few changes. But I like the way this brand looks. The main inside area is stunning. I really like the crane system, the huge engine room. Love the fly bridge. Well done.
Great review of the Aquila 54 and the background music level was just right ! This is one beautiful boat and would be great for extended cruising and or liveaboard. I'm amazed at the amount of room, storage and overall size of the interior. Absolutely beautiful boat and you did the 54 proud !!
@MarineMaxOnline Bummer! So how do you get back home when the engines break down or you run out of fuel? Does it at least come with paddles?😉 All kidding aside, it's a GORGEOUS boat and the presentation was very well done.
Exactly! You need to go outside to get to the bridge. Ok if the sun is shining but what about nighttime or poor weather. What about poor weather at night?
Beautiful Yacht Well Presented I wish he had went into the spec. Motor , Knott's at top , cruise , distance etc. But Well done Thank you Respectfully Elbert
I love this boat, finally a designer who has the customers needs in mind, there's absolutely no need to cram in 2 helms.. Just one little negative, I'm always disappointed when I see the switch panel taking up valuable galley space, it has a touch screen pad, so no reason why the panel isn't either at the helm or in the engine room. My ideal power cat would be this Aquila layout combined with the Silent Yacht concept..
At 5:50 he states it has a tunnel height clearance of 3' 2". What does that mean? Not all bridges are the same height. Thanks in advance if you can explain that to me.
From what the time the technology moved to forward so fast ?, or maybe I was behind with my personal knowledge about that, what was already discovered , with new things . I 'm really amazed , because I had no idea that so many things are connection with the lessoure and comfort .
Absolutely love the layout on this boat, many others try to cram in far too much, which often ends up making them feel small and cramped. For a 54foot boat, this looks so spacious, the only downside for me, is that I want a solar/electric yacht/cat, much like the Silent Yacht brand, of which I'm looking at someday getting the 60 ft version, once my crypto earns me enough. I don't want to be beholden to expensive fuel, except for the generator as backup for those days when the sky isn't obliging. Being able to cross the Atlantic etc without fuel constraints, while still having all the perks, is super appealing, as is being able to stay out as long as food supplies last :-)
My needs are a fully solar power cat with battery storage. Needs not met yet. Im talking full 20kw solar 50 ft x 25 ft. Every cat manufacture should be racing to build these.

For sure. I love the water's

First catamaran that actually has usable space and doesn't feel cramped. Well done. Beautiful boat
If i could ever afford something like this, i would live in it full time, perfect layout for a bachelor. Boat and Home in one.
I've been married for 25 years. My wife says she would love this as a liveaboard. I'm 6'6" and she is 5'9"
Had the same thought.

@@MikeHoyles Mine would be moored in the Keys and using my Canadian Passport to go over to Cayo Santa Maria Cuba :D
That's precisely why they make it unaffordable for bachelors. By the time you can afford it you're already too old to enjoy its full features
I don't like the look of Catamarans but this one proved me wrong.
So spacious and well planned.
Nice showing of the boat. Good pacing and detailed showing, clearing pointing out what makes this boat shine over the others. This layout is perfect.
I've always wondered where to store my amples. Now I know!

Lol
Love this one, looks absolutely amazing and is probably my new favorite of the line.
Coverage for our five handed neighbors
Would be a dream come true to own such a boat
Love that tender system and the tender.
Wow I'm really impressed with that skyloung. I like the stainless , the white molded ceiling and the tinted windows.
Very nice. I enjoyed that tour. It was much more roomy than I expected. Impressive.
Love the boat
But did anyone see the dolphin 1:04
A really nice boat. The overuse of “you will notice” and the word “wonderful” is a little distracting, but a good presentation of the yacht.
OMG, I thought it was just me!! 🤣🤣

Its significant for the matter of the review…

This brand is just fantastic.
Yes! Aquila is the number one power cat builder in the world! Be sure to subscribe for more awesome Aquila content!
Definitely a beautiful vessel. More battery storage and solar panels option are needed.

Tunnel height clearance refers to the gap from water to boat running down the centre line- only relevant to catamarans

Are you folks thinking of running this size boat with the foil as you have your 37?
You can opt for a secondary helm. I’ve seen other Aquila’s and the company is very accommodating.
How much for something like this?
Can you install teak decking?
Upper bridge floor, could it be wood?
Teak tables?
Black or dark corean?

I agree! But i wish silent yachts sorted out their design for their salon, it must be the worst i've ever seen for any yacht over 23ft long.
