Great video very informative and I appreciate your honesty. Im 210 lbs 6’4” and recovering cancer survivor going on 5 years soon and looking to celebrate. Hopefully i will get a one-wheel soon. I want to float for fun.
I own the Pint and the XR. I had my Pint for three months then bought the XR. I do love the Pint and it squirrelly ride for better movement and carve ability. Mainly for shorter more fun rides. The XR I use for longer rides where I’m not looking to get so giggy with it but still do light carving and just a more stable platform under me. You need to be focused while riding both boards. With the XR I can just get on it and basically go into stoke happiness let my mind wander and have a chill ride. On the Pint you have to super focus because of it’s playfulness and squirrelly nature. I love both boards for what they each bring for my personal stoke happiness. I really did not know there was such a divide between people and the boards. I don’t care what board people have, let’s just get our stoke on.
Nice dude. That’s definitely the right attitude to have! I feel the same way. When the next gen XR is released...I will be getting one for sure! Thanks for watching!

Great stuff Matt. Your videos are so professional! I’m right next to you in regards to your needs from the board. I’m turning 40 this year and I work around the clock. My wife and I like to ride our eboards on bike and running trails in our area. The longest trail we have ridden is the BWI trail in Baltimore and that was only about 10 miles and it’s nicely paved. She rides pretty slow which forced me to slow down and I have found that I prefer it now. We like to just relax, ride slow and carve up the trails. I figure the pint will be perfect for that. I haven’t been able to convince her to want one but when I get mine I’m sure that will change 😆. Thanks a ton for these reviews on the pint. You make such good points and really helped me to settle on which one to get. Eventually I probably will want better range but like you said, it’s would be best to wait for the new improved models that are sure to come out eventually. Till then, the pint is it.
I have had my Pint just over a year and I agree with you on almost everything you say,. I did, however, add SonnyWheels VNR system for when I need more range. The great thing is that I now have versatility, I can ride as normal without an extra battery, I can get double the distance with my lighter 2AH battery or over three times my range with a slightly heavier 6AH battery! A win win situation for sure! The only time I shall complement my Pint with buying an XR is when FM comes out with a modern new version! 😁🙏🏾
FYI, I tip the scales at 255 and I have no issues with power on my Pint. I'm not a high performance rider and I pretty much stick to hard surfaces. I do have trouble riding in the yard when the dirt is moist enough to be pliable. The tire creates a dimple in the earth at slower speeds and runs out of torque.
Hey, thanks for the info! I'm sure that will help some of my viewers. After seeing what the Pint can, I'm sure that it can handle a lot of weight. I'm guessing that someone who weighs close to 300 lbs could ride this thing on concrete with no problems. Thanks for watching!

I don't usually track the minutes that I ride, I just track the distance. I mostly do that because sometimes I'll stop at a school and just practice tricks for an hour....so tracking time wouldn't give me a clear picture of what my range is. I've been thinking of doing a very controlled range test where I would track as much data as possible. What do you think...is that something people would want to see? Thanks for watching!
Matt Yamamoto thanks for that. I’m trying to decide between the pint and XR. I know the expected mileage on each just trying to gauge how long these rides last on average. I like the size of the pint but don’t want to be unhappy with ride time/mileage.
@@alexander2225 I totally hear what you're saying. My rides are pretty easy to predict, so that's why the Google maps trick worked for me. I think it would help if you made a list of what your top priorities are. If range is at the top of your list...then you know which one to go with. =) For me...safety was higher on the list than range and speed, so the stronger pushback, etc was a big driver for me going with the Pint.
Yeah...I thought about getting fangs, but I decided that those little tiny wheels aren't going to do much to save me...and I thought that they might actually be detrimental in the turns. I'll like to ride with my nose pretty low, so when I'm carving really hard or doing reverts, I think the fangs would catch on the ground. The only fangs that I've seen that seem like they would actually save you are the Sonny Wheels...but damn those things make the board look hideous, I just can't bring myself to do it. lol

Hey bro,
I am on a budget on this one so I don't wanna spend too much on accessories
Can u tell me which accessories are a must. Thank u.
Hey sorry for the late reply. I'd say sidekicks and float plates are a must! Fender is optional unless you're riding in wet conditions and/or trails.
@@MattYamamoto100 thank you. Np
Lol I’m 285 and ride a pint around and it never has any problems
Awesome! Love to hear that!
Get the mten3 euc 😉
Haven’t ventured into the EUC world yet. There’s something about riding sideways that I love...but maybe someday! Thanks for watching!
What fender are you using?
@cadenscroggins I'm using the Craft & Ride Spectrum Magnetic Fender in this video. craftandride.com/collections/accessories-for-onewheel-pint/products/craft-ride-spectrum-magnetic-fender-for-onewheel-pint
It's an awesome fender...especially if you go trail riding or beach riding a lot. Thanks for watching!
How many minutes are you riding on average ona full charge on average?
Was that beach silver strand!??
Yes sir!
@@MattYamamoto100 nice!!! I grew up there. I’m in Utah now. I ride electric skateboards but was thinking about a pint possibly but I’m 215 lbs
OLED DISPLAY!!!
Right? That would be sick!
How many miles can u get??
I've been getting around 10 miles on concrete and asphalt. =) Pretty good considering that I weigh around 190 pounds!
You can get little wheels that can help you not eat pavement
Yeah...I thought about getting fangs, but I decided that those little tiny wheels aren't going to do much to save me...and I thought that they might actually be detrimental in the turns. I'll like to ride with my nose pretty low, so when I'm carving really hard or doing reverts, I think the fangs would catch on the ground. The only fangs that I've seen that seem like they would actually save you are the Sonny Wheels...but damn those things make the board look hideous, I just can't bring myself to do it. lol
Im surprise about taking ur shades off . Hehe ....
lol
Orem tier?
Lol. OEM tire. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Meaning the tire that comes mounted to the Onewheel from the Future Motion factory
“Background” way too loud in my opinion.
Holdup Samsung batteries waaaat
Haha. A lot of people use Samsung batteries in their battery packs. There aren't too many reputable battery makers that make such high-capacity, high-current batteries.
Yooooo Pint riders!
XR need to be shelved...
lol. There's room for all Onewheels to play! =)
this looks a lot like southern california
Proficient meaning
Sounds sponsored to me.
