Its crazy to think that Filoni cared about the story so much that he made sure Anakin and Grievous never met. All because of one line in Revenge of the Sith.
I love that is was just A clone that saved the baseline sample , it wasn't cody , rex or some badass arc trooper , no just A clone , fighting and saving his brothers
Fun facts about Echo and Fives Echo still has the hand print on his armor that Rex gave him with the Rishi eel blood The design on Fives' helmet is meant to represent cutup. The red chevon is Cutup, and the other part of the design is the eel that ate him. Both of them have a Z-6 rotary blaster painted on their armor this episode, with the words "FOR HEVY" written next to it

@@aquatazer Clone Wars is one of my all time favorite things in all of Star Wars. There's so many cool details throughout the entire show. Something as simple as Waxer for example. Ever since he and Boil helped Numa at the end of season 1, he continued to have a drawing of her on his helmet for the rest of his time in the show. Really adds to the idea that the universe in the show is alive, and that these characters remember and carry their experiences with them. I love the detail of Fives' helmet the most though. Really shows that he loved his brothers, and won't ever forget them. Fitting that it's a tribute to Cutup, as they seemed close during their training on Kamino.
The fact that this show can make a bunch of clones not only stand out from each other but make you feel for each one while they all look alike just shows how good the writing and character building is. Once you're done watching this show you need look up some vids on youtube that cover how they wrote these characters and the why. There's a reason why people say Dave Filoni is the second coming of Lucas. Hell there's vid of him breaking down the fight near the end of Episode I between Qui Gon, Obi and Maul on why it was important, the subtext of it and why the song that plays is called the duel of the fates.
