Do you know how important what you do is to some people? I am 81 years old with many health issues and I cannot leave my apartment unless I'm in a wheelchair so unless somebody takes me I'm unable to go thrift shopping anymore which used to be one of my most favorite things to do. Therefore you lovely ladies taking me on your adventure is so much fun for me as I sit here in my apartment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and love and blessings from a lady in New Mexico
This is the positive side to the internet. I watched this video as I visited Venice in the 1980s and wanting to relive that, not so much for the thrifting - although I do enjoy car boot sales over here in Wales UK for bargains (when it’s not raining lol). Wishing you a good day🙋♀️.

I have a small request.
If possible, please would you include the trading hours and days the shops are open in the description box too.
It would be a shame to go to the thrift shops when they are closed for people who are travelling from overseas to visit the thrift shops on their trips.

What a wonderful city to thrift in Aurora! So much fun and so beautiful. My husband and I got engaged in Venezia 2 years ago on a gondola! It's his favourite city in the entire world! Such a shame that a few were closed but you did well all the same! Un abbraccio Marisa xoxo

We were fortunate to have a short visit to Venice on a cruise we took many years ago. I say it was my favorite stop on that tour and somewhere I would love to return to some day! Biggest regret for me was spending too much time looking for souvenirs for family!

Hi Aurora, I love Venice, and it was so nice to see it in your video. I could never thrift there…the shops are hard to find, and if I arrived at one that was closed I might break in, and end up in the Venice jail🤣🤣🤣.
Ahahahah 🤣🤣🤣 that's why I went with my personal guide! Otherwise I would never find the thrift shops! And I live close to Venice, next time I will visit the shops that I found closed! Stay tuned! 😉

11:30 You might have to invest in one of those metal basket type carts with wheels. I know the Cobble Stone can be daunting, but it will certainly help you to pack it full of goodies and treasures! 😂 Happy Hunting!
Hello! 😊👋 The problem with carts in Venice is that it is full of pedestrian bridges, so I saw people with special carts with triple wheels that can climb up the stairs of the bridges, it's a true venetian thing, but I don't own that kind of cart! 🤭🤭🤭 Next time maybe I'll bring a backpack! 🤣

Love to find vintage Ginori when I visit Italy usually Bologna, Florence and Venice not so much. Modena is always good.

If only l knew , l have been to Venezia twice. I live in Australia and my father lived there before moving to Melbourne with my Grand parents.
