      Practice makes perfect. To no waste milk you can always practice with water and a dab of soap 🧼 to imitate milk.

    How long are you "barely submerged" before you fully submerge to avoid creating a lot of foam?

    It is not really clear how deep you sink the tube to compress the air

      Great question and that’s something we should’ve clarified. You want the tip of the wand fully submerged in the milk before when turning the steamer on. This will avoid airy foam as well as milk getting splattered everywhere. Once the steam is going, quickly lower the jug so that just the tip is barely submerged and makes a sound best described as paper ripping. Hope this helps!
