I’m not sure what the impact on Transformers would be if Elon bought Hasbro, but it’s worth noting that he named his line of forthcoming personal assistance robots “Optimus”.
Did not know that about the personal assistance robots. Some gap filing kits do a really good job. I use to buy a bunch of the kids from nonnef. I haven't brought many since moving to 3rd party. They can be addictive.
Protoman broke down where that Prima head comes from. It's from a different character called Powerful Bot in the script from season 3 episode 'Five Faces of Darkness' shown in a flashback scene. Some random character and wasn't Prima in the show. Kinds weird to not go with the actual head that fits that body.

All things aside, I think history will look back at Elon buying Twitter as a major turning point and, although I think he's just trolling about Hasbro, someone buying that actually cares about the IPs would be great. Last of the Seekers is a cool story line (homage to original Transformers). I have a couple of the Wave 1 bots, they feel 3D printed but I dig them. Sandlot looks good and they have car bot and helicopter in the works. To my understanding, the alt-modes for the two MMC Drift versions are different cars. The Missing Link line, so far, is proof that even a broken watch is right twice a day....😊 Thank you James, yes it is spelled "Kun." It's an honorific used for someone young or at least younger. On the MMC Groove, it's not a cup of coffee (😊), it's a horn. One of the accessories. Great show as always
Someone who would actually care about the properties at Hasbro is what's missing. I almost bought stock in the company a year ago. Happy I didn't. Not sure if James had but I have not read any of Last of the seekers comics if that's what they come from. The alt modes are different cars. I love that about these 2 figures. The missing link figures are going to take my Takara/Hasbro MP budget as the MPG line looks small. I was playing with the coffee. I meant to mention that he comes with a surprise donut to go with the coffee but it got caught up in editing.
The MMC Defensor/Protectabots aesthetically are very good. The issue is that there isn’t any die-cast at all particularly in critical area. For example on First aid’s connector joint to Defensor should be metal as of that fatigues then you have not only a fatigues check piece but also a combiner arm. Feet, ports etc and that why I’m out on MMC until they change their ethos in this regard.
If somebody makes an add on kit for that MMC defensor that basically drops the crotch and hip skirts down to cover the blue shading on the upper thighs, that would completely fix the proportions of the combined mode
Gotta say - RotB Mirage is REALLY cool in both modes, but, what a NIGHTmare to transform… 😅 Also, glad I caught this vid (as always); reminded me about the Rising Force Stunticons (thanks!)… TF One Defensor… 😅😂😅 Might not be a popular opinion, but I actually LOVE that Rook was created during Combiner Wars… as difficult as it is, I try to scale alt modes as best I can, so having a core class groove is a much better scaling decision (to Bobby’s point), with Rook as a welcomed 6th Protectobot… it would actually be awesome if there was a masterpiece Defensor that included Rook as the right leg, and Groove as, perhaps, a chest piece, like Combiner Wars. I picked up one of the Riot Toys Seekers. I would agree that it feels like an older 3P figure. It's decent overall, but my copy's joints are a little looser than I would have liked. If they have updated the tolerances on the figures it's worth checking out. Loving all the options for Drift, I think the exclusive head is a concept art head. I think the exclusive head may fit this version better since it's kinda blocky, and then the regular one for the red/white striped one (or at least that's probably how I'll display them).
I like the Aligned Continuity head for Prima. But it’s a really weird design for a character that’s supposed to be the first Cybertronian. Also, Primas artifact in Aligned Continuity was the Star Saber. So while this figure probably won’t come with a light saber. He will get the Star Saber. Which most of the time is shown as some sort of glowing sword.

Elon Hasbro's Cybertruck crossover is definitely gonna be Megatron. It will be silver. Elon is not an Optimus kind of guy. Imagine if bot mode was G1 cartoon accurate. Then it might as well be our SS86 Megatron since neither a tank nor cybertruck was in the 86 movie.
Honestly, given what Chris JAAM recently reported on, that Hasbro might not even be making figures by 2030, between that and other issues with Hasbro in recent years, I don't see how Transformers couod fare much worse if Misk bought Hasbro.

I took a look at the Blockees Megatron last night. Needless to say my order is in. 😂

It's also small which is my issue with it. The proportions could also be improved as you mentioned.
